Wrapping the weekends birthday presents for various kids birthday parties at my desk then jumping on a train to Bath to look after my cousin who has had hideous back surgery. Si has all the kids (may the force be with you hon) I’m going to load up on magazine for that kid free train journey🤘. I’ve also bought the biggest Star Wars Lego box I could find for her kids, I’m pretty sure it’ll be the best thing I’ve ever bought and in no way am I using it as a babysitter 🤔 happy weekend. #writingdesk#wrappingstation#rescueaunty#starwarslego#allaboutthebribes#lovewrappingpresents#interiorlove

Isaac J. Pennyburg, Alien Hive Detector (AHD) Rover Driver - 🛑After the settlement of Mars, the Earth Federation soon discovered a number of buried Giant Winged Space Centipede Hives. Nesting at depths of 35 feet, Worker Space Centipedes bury their wingless female egg producers underground - cocooning them large mucus and saliva pods. AHD Rover drivers like Isaac are charged with patrolling the landscape surrounding the various Martian Settlement Bases, electronically listening via ground penetrating radar for the signature shuffling of giant insect legs against giant insect abdomens - deep within the hot Martian soil. Once detected, the AHD Rovers fire self-implanting, self-digging, guided depth charges – which explode upon contact of the Space Centipede cocoons. It is interesting to note that Isaac has always had trouble with his vision - as a young boy he lost complete use of his left eye, and partial use of his right, due to an extremely high fever brought on by an infected mongoose bite – so the art of listening appealed to him, and became a bit of a hobby. After joining the Earth Federation academy, he found it difficult to fit in, to find his place so to speak. However it was widely known that he could hear an envelope being opened in neighboring buildings while in still in his bunk, or the crack of an egg in the commissary canteen clear across the Academy grounds. A post as a AHD Rover Driver seemed the logical career path on Mars, and so it was. It is also to be noted that Isaac J. Pennyburg does three things every day: 1. Hear the cosmic shuffle of the dawning sun above Mars. 2. Hear his omelette being made before he gets out of the shower. 3. Blow up egg producing Giant Space Centipedes, keeping you safe.
