Parilla (pronounced "pa-ri-sha" locally since the double L makes a "sh" sound in Argentinian Spanish) is a must- have when visiting Buenos Aires! La Cabrera is so popular, they opened several locations all along the same street! It's a bit touristy but a solid minimal risk option to try out the local fare (also English menus).. reservations are recommended but we walked in and got seated immediately with a party of 5 at 7pm midweek, so you never know! once you get more adventurous, definitely hit up the local spots; just look for the word #parilla in the window (and you can usually see/smell the BBQ in the window!) #buenosaires#meatallday#steaksteaksteak
Back at the Alpine Inn for the best steak in the world -- love this tradition, but not as much as I love him ❤️ #SteakSteakSteak •
This time I wore a dress and he wore sweats so we wouldn't have to unbutton our pants halfway through the meal👍🏼
Daily reminder to follow your dream kids: this is the small-- no, literally the smallest -- steak Florentine at Il Salviatino. And it's nearly 3 lbs. (1300 grams)
But it became the best that it could, because it believed in itself. It didn't care about labels. And I did the best that I could... And ate all of it as part of a 4 course dinner. By myself. 🍴🍷 It's about dreams, people.
Thank you chef & crew for the hospitality!
