Hermit crabs can reach 0.5 to 16 inches in length, depending on the species.
A hermit crab is usually reddish, orange or brown-colored, with or without purple spots on the body.
Hermit crab has soft,🐚 asymmetrical abdomen, 10 legs and 2 large claws. Left claw is larger and it serves as a weapon against predators such as cuttlefish, squid, octopus and different types of fish.🐙🐟🍤
Hermit crabs use different types of abandoned shells, usually of sea snails, to protect its soft body and provide moist environment for its gills.🐚🐌
Hermit crabs have two long ocular stalks with eyes on the top and antennas which serve as sensory organs.👀
Both marine and land hermit crabs use gills for breathing. Land hermit crabs require very humid air (with at least 70% of humidity) to survive. Despite well-developed gills, land hermit crabs cannot breathe under the water.🌊🌎
Hermit crabs often exchange and occasionally fight with other hermit crabs to conquer better shells.🐚💎😊🌍❤🐾😍

Heartbreaking images from a Pepsi farm, these newborn cans live in disgusting conditions and their poor box mothers are forced to give birth without rest, mistreated daily. Stop soda can abuse, only drink sodas from ethically responsible sources. #Peta#Pepsi#stoptorture#stopcruelty
The long-crested eagle is territorial and the male displays during courtship in which he performs steep dives and also uses a rocking, level display flight, they call frequently during these displays. Both sexes build the nest, constructing a stick platform with a bowl shaped depression in the centre which is lined with green leaves. The nest is normally situated in the mid canopy and very close to the trunk of a tree near the forest edge. If available, the long-crested eagle will often reuse the nest of another bird, for example the black sparrowhawk or lizard buzzard. It breeds all year but most eggs are laid in July–November. The female lays 1-2 eggs, and she take most of the burden of incubating them, incubation lasting 42 days, as she incubates the male provides her with food. As is normal in birds of prey the eggs are laid asynchronously, as much as two weeks apart, and the female begins incubation as soon as the first egg is laid which means that hatching is also asynchronous. When the young hatch they are initially mainly fed by the male. The period from hatching to fledging is about 53 days, and the juveniles remain dependent on the adults for about a further 2–3 months. The nests have been recorded as being preyed upon by monkeys.🐵😊🐾

The Black Widow spider is the most poisonous spider in North America, but only the adult female.🏥
The female Black Widow is easy to recognize (if you care to get that close) by the red hourglass shape on the underneath part of her abdomen. She has a shiny black body with various types of red markings on the top, depending on the species. There are about five species of Black Widow spiders in North America.
The black widow will grow to about 8-10mm...pretty small huh?😂
Black Widows will lay up to 400 eggs at a time, but they are known to be cannibals, which means that they will eat each other. The Black Widow has unfairly earned a bad reputation for wanting to eat her mate. She will only eat her mate when she mistakes him for a meal!
The silk of this spider is known to be the strongest of all silk. The Black Widow spider does not spin the pretty webs, instead she will spin the thick jumbles looking cobweb. These webs catch beetles, flies, grasshoppers, moths and other spiders.🐛🐜🐞
These spiders, although a little scary, have enemies, as well. A few wasps can sting and paralyze, before eating the Black Widow. She is also a favorite food of the Praying Mantis. Some birds will eat these spiders but could end up with an upset stomach from her poisons. The bright red markings on her belly will warn possible predators that she is a nasty meal.🐝🐥
The black widow spider is considered armed and dangerous because its venom is quite harmful to people. Although it is not the type to attack, when disturbed or frightened it will bite. These guys (girls actually) are often found hiding in dark places like garages, closets and sometimes in clothing, bedding or shoes that haven’t been worn for some time. This is when most people are likely to get bitten. They really do prefer biting (and eating) insects, though!😂😂
PS: Spiders are animals!

Tasmanian devils look like dogs of medium size. They can reach 30 inches in length and up to 26 pounds in weight.🐶😍❤🐾🌍
Body of Tasmanian devil is covered with black fur, with white patches on the chest, shoulders and rump. Tasmanian devil has large head and very strong jaw.😱💀
Tasmanian devil has one of the strongest bites in the animal world: 1200 pounds per square inch, which means that it can bite through the metal trap.💀👹
Tasmanian devil is a carnivore that can eat both live prey and the carcasses. Fish, snakes, birds and insects are often of the Tasmanian devil's menu. It is not a picky eater; once the prey is caught - Tasmanian devil will eat all of it, including bones and fur. These animals eat 5 to 10% of their own body weight each day.🍗
It also has excellent sense of eyesight and smell, which are used for detection of the prey.👃
They store fat in their tails. Tails in the healthy animals are thick and swollen, while it is limp and skinny in the diseased animals.
Tasmanian devils are not very fast runners (they can reach only 15 miles per hour), but they can run extended period of time (one hour without resting). Also, they are excellent climbers and swimmers.
Tasmanian devils are named that way because of the ferocious behavior which they exhibit during eating and mating and because of the very loud screeching noise that they produce.😰
Tasmanian devils are classified as nocturnal animals (active during the night), but they are also active during the day.😪
When threatened, Tasmanian devil will open its jaws widely to express fear and uncertainty. Also, in stressful situations, it will release pungent odour to chase away the predators.😍🌍❤🐾
