Thought I'd drop an exercise I did yesterday and show my fellow #artists a checkered surface in one point perspective in case anyone needed to see /learn the steps 😉! P.S. do you prefer JUST visuals like this or would written instructions AND visuals be better for you all to learn?
@eriksdharma: “#storyboards are essential to help visualize creative concepts to our clients. They’re a blueprint for producers and editors to understand the visual style and flow of the piece, ensuring the creative vision remains intact from concept to completion.”
Starting the day with #storyboarding --
Production quality for Avatar content is going WAY up for the future, can't wait to have the platform we can share it from finished!
Definitely a labor of love, grateful for every day 🙏
Finally got home. I got started on a new storyboard yesterday, and hopefully I'll incorporate what I learned into it and the work gets better. It's a weird transition. With comics, there's no motion and all panels are frames stuck in time, so you have to exaggerate certain things or focus on a specific action/reaction in order to get a visceral reaction with the reader that makes them want to read more. But animation has motion and a sense of progression, so I think doing storyboards become more about putting the audience "in the action" to get that same feeling that you would from exaggerating a specific action in a panel. Something like that. #sketch#pencilsketch#storyboard#ogre#fantasy#lowfantasy#storyboarding
