"Street Sharks Blew My Mind"
Acrylic and Ink on Cut Wood. For the "The Joys of Toys" show opening tonight at @galleries1988 in connection with Mattel.
Thanks to super curator @cuddlyrigormortis for including me in this, along with so many other rad artists.
I love Gallery 1988, I love toys and I still absolutely love Street Sharks!
Comment if you ever had any of these!

The majority of my childhood.
Why bother keeping toys? I always figured one day I would have kids, and the upbringing of a kid isn't cheap despite wanting to provide them with the best.
Likewise, selling toys before they become collectors items is usually a negative investment.
Saving my childhood toys to pass on one day seemed like the best way to save myself money when I one day become a parent myself.
What do you think? Should I have sold them?
Totally found the missing shin for the Metallix Gold Beetleborg after taking the photo. Smh.
All the rubber on the Mystic Knights toys felt oil-y, any collectors out there know how to fix that?
I store most my toys in plastic containers, not sure if they need to breath more. Left them out for a week and they still felt oil-y.
And yes, I totally used scotch tape and rubber bands at times to make sure their weapons didn't fall out of their hands.
