Some clips from yesterday's 3 lift. Top single for squat was 460lbs which moved a little slower than I'd like. A little chest cave and loss of tightness. Then did a heavy single on deadlifts as well off of 1.5 inch blocks. Ended up hitting 565lbs, wanted more but my lockout didn't feel very strong. Then did an overload for bench on decline where I hit 335. Elbows flared pretty bad right off of my chest. At the end of the day I hit all of my numbers I wanted to but my technique was a little shakey on everything. Close grip bench 5x5 at 135, 145, 150, 155, 160# which is a hugeee PB for reps at this grip. Took some tips from watching my friend @aguinaga_johanna at raw worlds and set up a bit differently on the bench. After working an 11hr shift last night, I kicked my ass all the way to the gym. Got in a nice leg day.
People, say ohhh I work too much or I don't have time to get to the gym.
Sorry to say, but that's complete bs.
There is always time for the things you want.
Physically, my body is exhausted. Mentally, I was prepared to come in and finish.
I fed myself positive thoughts and encouragement.
I told myself that, this is what it takes.
Some days you're going to be dead ass tired, that's not an excuse.
You can't get anywhere with lazy work.
Yes, take your time to rest and make sure you are nourishing your mind and body.
Just don't ever let being "tired" keep your from accomplishing goals.

Just finished a 5-class Pilates package this month and I'm on the hunt for something new and fun! I do my usual training every week but I love adding different classes into my routine. Maybe I'll try kickboxing next. 🤔😜🥊
