My kick ass patient doesn't need her oxygen mask the following morning for some hours because the THC has been hard at work all night doing what it can to help the lungs perform better. That makes me wonder tho then would higher amounts of THC reverse the damage? Or why do doctors continue to not recommend such alternatives? Everything I know now, could it have saved my aunt who died from lung cancer? Would she have at least spent her last days coherent? Maybe my brave little cousin wouldn't have had to make the call to pull the plug.. it's an everyday battle in this fucked up society..even more so in my mind. So I try to do what I can today cuz tomorrow is never promised. Life is wild and work is hectic. Been forgetting shit and studdering hella lately, when generally i speak so eloquently. In studies of humans and other animals, they have discovered that sleep plays a critical role in immune function, metabolism, memory, learning, and other vital functions." (Harvard Medical School Sleep Center). During a cleanse your body is working extra hard to rid itself of toxins and impurities. One way to support this effort is to get adequate sleep, if not extra. Having a toddler means I seldom get a nap myself but thanks to my husband, I snuck in this cat nap the other day. It was fabulous! 😉

My yoga assessment is in less than a week now😳, and it's al I have been practising each day, which is lovely, but I still need to make time for rehab on my shoulder / ankle and strengthen some areas in and around them to prevent any further injury.
