Sunday runday. I decided a few months back not to track my distance or pace for now. I don't want to aim for a pb, as every run is a pb in my mind. Sunday...when I take 20 minutes to plan out the weekly dinners and make my grocery list for Monday! It also helps that garbage comes on Monday morning so it’s my clean out and refresh fridge day! Im not going to lie.... today was tough. My first day back exercising and it was hard. I managed to stick to my plan with 200m Walk / 200m jog (slow) for the entire 5kms. But it wasn’t easy. I’ve had 31days off exercise due to illness so to get out and about felt great. When #pushups become easy, what do you do? Now I know alot of us can still get plenty of challenge from a few good sets of push-ups, but before long, cranking out high rep sets of push-ups gets tedious. In these two videos I demonstrate the form of a proper push-up and it's challenging progression...the planche push-up!

In the 1st video, you'll notice I begin my set-up on all fours. Knees underneath my hips and wrists underneath my shoulders. From there, I "get tight" and maintain that tightness as I extend my legs. Straight line from my ankles to my shoulders! Maintaining that solid plank position, I lower my body as a unit to the floor. I generally go until my nose just touches the floor, but we're looking for ATLEAST a 90° angle in the elbows.

In the 2nd video, I began again on hands and knees. You'll notice I go into this "angry constipated cat" position (atleast that's what my girlfriend calls it). I'm protracting my shoulder blades fully, and tucking my tailbone underneath me. (For lack of a better cue, think "hump"). From this position, I maintain tension throughout my body and extend me legs. ---> The last thing I do, is shift my weight forward (shoulders ahead of wrists) and come up onto my toes. <--- THIS MAKES THE PLANCHE PUSH-UP MUCH MORE CHALLENGING! So if that's what you're looking for, awesome! If you try it out and it's too difficult, try again without shifting forward!

It's hard day to day, but week on week and month on month, as the results creep in slowly, I'm glad I put those few extra hours in at the start of my day.

Principalmente, para as mulheres que desejam, não apenas ganhar músculos como também perder peso, fazer treino de fortalecimento para membros superiores ajudará nesse processo.

Hora do treino de braço para mulheres! O maior medo que as mulheres têm quando o assunto é musculação de braços é o de ficar com a aparência masculinizada, com braços grandes e musculatura definida. Só que, se você der uma olhada para os homens durante a musculação é possível notar que eles pegam uma grande quantidade de peso para ter os braços musculosos. O mesmo treino que você faz para as pernas, eles fazem para os braços. Então, basta que você faça um treino diferente.
