Having a busy schedule and being a busy mom is NoExcuse not to take care of yourself. 
This was just 1️⃣ of my things to do on my checklist ✔️ to complete today. It was a busy day and everything is done. 
My meals 🥦🥕🍗🍚 are made for the next 5 days for work and dinner. This is what I do every Sunday to make my life easier throughout the week. Right now mom life is busy working later hours at work, a daughter in Drivers Ed, and being a mom boss working on her own business with training classes and personal development.

Kept it pretty simple and to the point today... did 5x15 reps of dead lifts really heavy..then 10x10 with lighter weights. Focused on 3 different simple motions till I couldn’t anymore!! Finished off with a GREAT Sauna session.. Push ups 10x10!!👌💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Weighing in today at 134lbs I set a goal (following the 5/3/1 program) of 215lbs x 3. I will take my time and work my way back up to a 300lbs squat and take the WA state record in a lower weight class! .

Through 2017 I wound up loosing 14lbs and all my strength due to injury, stress, and medication. There’s been a lot tears and frustration but I’m back! Weighing in today at 134lbs I set a goal (following the 5/3/1 program) of 215lbs x 3. DO YOU BELIEVE IN YOURSELF?

Something which is easy to forget... But we need to remember.

Self belief is the most powerful tool we have.

And sometimes, we only realize that when we're faced with difficulties... Whether we like it or not, life can be a bitch.

Things don't always go the way we want- we maybe have weeks where our training and diet go to shit, where we have to reprioritize things, or where our progress stalls.

But that happens to 99.9% of us.

We cannot stop believing in ourselves just because things don't go entirely to plan. Once we stop believing in our own capabilities and begin questioning ourselves, we've already lost.

Nobody ever achieved anything great without believing they could- a "we'll see what happens attitude" won't get us there.

We NEED to believe in ourselves in order to achieve great things... Self belief helps us see opportunities, rather than be oblivious to them.

It stimulates us to take action when we want to overcome our problems.

It makes us persistent (and we NEED to be persistent.) We need self-belief when we're at our worst, or when we're struggling (that counts for mental health too, not just our physical wellbeing.) We need self-belief when we're just starting out into training and eating well, because we've a long road ahead of us to get to where we want to be... But if we believe we can get there, we will.

4 years of anorexia taught me that.

Self-belief can turn you into that person you never thought you could become. It can change your life.

Let yourself take knocks. Let life be difficult and throw up its challenges, because it will- we can't avoid it! But don't stop believing that you can achieve whatever you want to achieve.

Because trust me... You can.

I’ve recently changed up a few things training wise to get stronger, build on endurance, and generally fitter so I’m also trying to challenge myself in my yoga practice too.
I’ve never really gone near this pose, I think I’ve maybe tried it once before, as I used to look at it and think I’m definitely not strong enough for that, and I don’t really fancy snapping my neck today.
So I thought I’d give it a shot, maybe it was the fact that it was a Monday when I threw all caution to the wind and did this (Blue Monday for that matter) and decided my head coming off was quite unlikely.
Of course there’s a whole load not quite there alignment wise, my legs aren’t as straight as they should be, my hips should be higher, I shouldn’t be dumping as much of my lower body weight through my arms, etc etc etc but fuck that, look, I’m nearly doing fallen angel!

I’ve recently changed up a few things training wise to get stronger, build on endurance, and generally fitter so I’m also trying to challenge myself in my yoga practice too. I’ve never really gone near this pose, I think I’ve maybe tried it once before, as I used to look at it and think I’m definitely not strong enough for that, and I don’t really fancy snapping my neck today. So I thought I’d give it a shot, maybe it was the fact that it was a Monday when I threw all caution to the wind and did this (Blue Monday for that matter) and decided my head coming off was quite unlikely. On Sundays I wear BLACK 🌚 
Here I am about to hit some pool waves at my local leisure centre 🌊 A lot can be said for wearing new gear as I was seriously stoked to be trying out a new ‘far sexier’ hat 🤣 (old one too floppy), new goggles (on-going leakage issues) and a slightly better fitted cozzie (butt chafing). All contributing to a far sleeker time and a far more motivated fresh mindset 🌈💪🏾 Anyone trying new fitness garments/accessories, knows that there are usually teething problems to begin with. I ‘threw away’ the first 10 lengths to trialling & testing my goggles which took quite a few adjustments but we got there and together we crushed it. Ending this week strong, so can you! 🤜🏽 110 lengths gained.

Today I woke up and felt like shit. I didn’t want to work, I didn’t want to be around people, I basically wanted to waste the day and wait for tomorrow.

This morning I decided to attempt deadlifts solo ... and although I visualised bringing that weight up easily it was stuck to the ground ... and was 15kg lighter than my PB... first I beat myself up .. I've been training, eating and sleeping well for months and in a fantastic place with my fitness and strength .. how could this happen?? Then I remembered there were some key elements missing that is a great alignment with the lessons I've learn about life: - some tasks are a team effort .. I might be lifting the weight but you need a cheer squad and someone who has your back - silence is beautiful when your mediating but to activate beast mode you need to surrounded yourself with senses that push you - today wasn't the day- I know I can do this but today wasn't the right day ... it's a sign today was about my learnings rather than conquering a new goal 🌎🌎🌎
