It’s not tuesday but fancied posting this today to give me a bit of a pat on the back!
I don’t give myself much credit for the work I put in, I just keep going and never look back or stop to pause and think.
I tear myself down WAY more than I cheer myself on. I’ve always been stupidly hard on myself!

I don’t think I’ve ever posted a face comparison before but it’s one of the first places where fat loss or gain shows on me.
Would you believe I was already working out consistently in the first picture? What I hadn’t done yet was make the necessary changes to my nutrition in order to see results.
This was only weeks before my 40th and starting my Instagram account. I was wearing a size 8 playsuit which I bought a little too tight planning to lose a few kg's but that didn't happen and I looked like a stuffed sausage when I wore it on my holiday in Greece. 😝 Fits well now though! 🤗
I wanted to post this because I always get asked what exercises are best to lose fat in certain areas and the fact is, it’s the nutrition that has to be the focus of fat loss otherwise you really are spinning your wheels. 🙈
Had my first training session back last night in a whole week 💦 safe to say I’ve lost quite a bit of strength, muscle mass, definition and gained a bit of fat back in the last two weeks being out of routine 🤦🏼♀️. Heute möchte ich mal ein paar gedanken zum Thema aussehen und sportlichkeit los werden. Oftmals wird das ja quasi synonym verwendet, dabei hat das eine eigentlich nichts mit dem anderen zu tun 💁 Das Mädchen, dass du um seine Figur beneidest hat vielleicht eine Essstörung. Und der moppelige Typ hat vielleicht eine krasse grundlagenausdauer ✌🙆 ich esse zum Beispiel seit ein paar wochen maximal ungesund 🙊 die ganzen Plätzchen und schoko🎅 sind einfach zu lecker, dazu kommen täglich Süßigkeiten aus drei (!) Adventskalender und auf der Arbeit gibt es zum Mittag oft nur noch Pommes, da die Chirurgen erst aus dem OP kommen, wenn das Mittagessen schon ausverkauft ist 🍟 trotzdem (oder gerade deswegen?) hat mein Bauch sich offenbar entschieden, ein paar #Muckis zu entwickeln 😁🙊 worauf ich hier eigentlich hinaus will? Man sieht niemandem an wie gesund er ist oder lebt 🙆 verurteilt niemandem aufgrund seines Aussehens, ach was, verurteilt niemanden aufgrund von irgendwas! ☝
Ich hab heute #Sport Pause, hab mir nämlich irgendwas eingefangen und musste heute von der OP abtreten, auf die ich mich das ganze wochenende gefreut hab 😏 naja, gibt auch schlimmeres: nun wird die Couch gehütet und weiter zucker konsumiert 😁 es ist vorweihnachtszeit 🎄 und da hab ich einfach keine lust großartig auf gesunde Ernährung zu achten- #sorrynotsorry .

As most of you know, I love cooking. Mr. Veg is almost never home when I’m doing the actual cooking, but when he is, he makes sure to tell me to be VERY careful with the oven and the knife as if I’ve never used them before 😂 So tonight of course, one of the only times he IS home when I’m cooking, I burn myself on the oven for the first time 🤦🏻♀️ I’m okay!! But seriously!!!

There are no quick fixes to the body you want or the life that you want. It takes SWEAT, it takes CONSISTENCY, its takes HARD FREAKIN WORK. And if someone evert tells you to take this pill, drink this tea, drink this pink drink and you will be skinny or solve all you body/health problems I would RUN FAR FAR AWAY
NOTHING IN LIFE is ever achieved without HARD WORK, so stop looking looking for quick fixes and DO THE WORK !
Remember: you are amazing, you are powerful, you should never want to shrink yourself or make anything less... you should grow! Be strong! Be confident! And share the love 💞✌🏼

6.5 miles spent praying and thinking of my sweet grandmother who went to be with Jesus and my grandfather this morning. I’m grateful for the time we spent with her Saturday and that she was able to wake up enough to recognize my family and I. This holiday season will be about cherishing the time we have with one another. Those moments are the most precious.
I always try to keep it real so here is my #aiyanapls moment of the week. Apparently in the middle of this squat I just decided I didn’t want to squat today ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Last week I did a high bar beltless squat at 205 super easy and today 210 was a complete fail. Lifting is weird. #fail
