Shoutout to one of our favorite German beatsmiths @hulk_hodn (@sichtexot #entbs etc.) for picking up a pair of HEDD Type 07. If you have 💛 for that crackly, warm and jazzy Golden Era inspired sound, you cannot sleep on this guy. Much respect and thx for sharing the pic 🙏
IF YOU are looking for a DJ setup, please READ! Hope it helps, but in the end it really depends on your personal need & taste! 🎧
2 new additions to the Pioneer XDJ-RX: Behringer Nekkst K8 Studio monitors & ATH-M50x headphones. For those who are interested to know, I have switched from Xdj Aero controller to CDJ2000s & DJM 750, and then to XDJ-RX alone. So far, I think it's the best setup for house music and even for hiphop if you're not into too much skratching. I love how it is bigger than smaller controllers and easy to carry for wedding gigs. The only drawback is the inconvenience of the tracklist where you will not be able to "search" in your 5k songs list. 🎧
The Nekkst K8 definitely sounds better than my old Pioneer S-DJ50, bigger in size, so more power and bass. For now I'm happy with the amount of bass, so I will not add an external sub-woofer to save some money.🎧
I have started DJ'ing 5 years ago and used white HDJ-1500 headphones. I wouldn't throw them away if the color of the white leather didn't come off and they started to get yellowish. Just bought these Audio Technica ATH-M50x, and I find they sound pretty much the same with a good clear mid and bass for 200$ (even less than what I have paid my HDJ). Definitely the best value headphones you can find in the market right now. Strongly suggest to NOT use wireless headsets because you don't want to find batteries during your gigs!
Hope this will help for those who already DJ, or starting to DJ, or ppl who are building their home studio :P
THE GAME WASN'T THE SAME AFTER #TM101 ...I DON'T KNOW WHAT @SHAWTYREDD ATE THAT DAY...BUT I DON'T THINK YOU CAN WAKE UP AND PLAN ON THIS...AND THE WAY @JEEZY WAS TALKING TO EM WAS AND IS STILL UNIQUE #FLGANG#FLSTUDIO#PROTOOLS
These are my studio goals from @therealdoublemm in Switzerland! 😍😍😍

We pulled up this track that we composed over a decade ago on one of the very first editions of Reason software... to audition the AVI DM5 the Astounding little monster 5" powered monitors that are fast becoming a big brand killer as more and more people are hearing it's awesome power packed performance.
Another lucky studio owner walks away with this beautiful pair of monitors entirely designed and built in England.
