Where it all began ✨
During my Yoga Retreat in the North of Thailand at Suan Sati, the “Garden of Mindfulness”, in the beginning of January 2018 I totally got into vegan food, yoga and being mindful in every aspect of life. This week made me wanting to change my life, where I focus on my body, mind and soul to nourish each of them perfectly. I strongly believe that magic happens at this place and this magic was just planted into me to grow in my everyday life 🧘🏼♀️🥦🥥🌱 let’s see where this journey will lead me 🌈
🧘🏼♀️SUAN SATI - YOGA RETREAT🧚🏼♀️ This place is pure magic. Made out of the all the positive vibes Will, Lisa, the staff and all Yogis bring in as well as of the greenery, bamboo houses and hammocks ✨ I was inspired by each one of the group, learned so much about Yoga and experienced 5 days of digital and nutritional detox. In total I became more aware and mindful in every aspect, which I really want to keep up. The magic doesn’t end here, it’s just planted to grow in my every day life 🌈
*~Travelling tends to magnify all human emotions.~ *
So I planned to give myself a nice christmas gift (a diving trip in the Andaman Sea) but ended up being sick instead.
It's been two very intense months here in Thailand so far. Two different yoga retreats, one week volunteer job with elephants, almost two weeks vipassana meditation retreat and one week of scubadiving courses. I've really had such an awesome time here so to maintain some balance in life, I guess that even I have to go through some dukkha, (means suffering in Pali, yes I did learn a few words, the language that Buddha was speaking back in the days.) ;) And if being sick isn't enough; I do really miss all the good people I've met on this journey so far. It makes me sad that everyone I really like are already back home or leaving now for some other fun adventure. But thats travelling. It's easier said than done but I will try hard to stay in the present moment with some anapanasati instead of longing back to the past. Never knows what happens next in life!
I'm feeling very grateful for the lovely yoga retreat in the beautiful forest at @suansati, the good vibes and really fun time at @elephantnaturepark, the extremly tasty food and the variation of different classes at @wonderland_healing_center, all the deep wisdom, insight words and mindliked people at @suanmokkh and last but not least, all the new skills, cool underwater world, and some awesome people at @crystaldivekohtao
To travel like this is to have Christmas every day!
I feel for you all and miss you already! - Like a rainbow round my heart! 🎶🌈❤
Hope to see you again somewhere in the world. 🌎👋 (Time flies and it's time for next destination, they might not have wifi there as often as I've had here.) Merry Christmas to you all! 🛫🎄🎅 #godjul#merrychristmas#chiangmai#yogaretreat#suansati#elephantnaturepark#volunteerjob#kohpangang#wonderlandhealingcenter#chaiya#suanmokkh#meditation#vipassana#kohtao#scubadiving#crystaldive#khaolak#thailand#traveltheworld#neverstopexploring#awesometime#dontwanttoleave#enjoyinglife
~The Garden Of Mindfulness ~ Everything here is breathing peacefulness, truthfulness and presence.~ ♡
I just finished my one week yoga & meditation retreat at beautiful @suansati This experience was a big wonderful transformation for me.
The family here are doing the very extra for you to really give you a wide spectra of different experiences. I really loved all the variety of classes and activities during the whole week. The classes are different every day which makes you stay curious all the time.
I really liked the balance between activities and experiences from the outside world (outside of yourself) to activities that intended to explore and go deeper inside of yourself.
If you are into meditation, different styles of yoga, amazing vegan food and permaculture this is definitly the place to be! 🙏🌳💚
