Some mornings you just gotta slip a brownie into your porridge. One of the best things about being sugar free is that you can eat anything anytime because it's all healthy!
These are black bean brownies (flourless, sugar free and vegan ofc - recipe adapted from the minimalist baker), with a couple of dates, and overnight oats (that I actually just made this morning). Also ft. raisins, goji berries, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, tahini, and some almond meal. 90% water and a splash of oat milk.
Left on the side at work... oxymoron?
1) women's magazines are toxic, and exist only for profit. They tell you to be confident and happy with yourself, while at the same time saying 'buy these things to make you happy' or '10 reasons why x celebrity is better than you and you will never be like her'.
2) slimming world relies on people failing to stay in business
3) sugary food is addictive and it's not just a question of willpower. It's partially the government's responsibility to limit the power of the sugar industry and it's lobbyists (who fund research btw and enable reports to be produced which are full of misinformation about sugar, claiming that fat is the villain here. And also that more exercise, less food is the key to losing weight).

Some things are worth the wait -- like your mama's cooking 🍝, wisdom as you grow into your power in this magnificent universe✨, your love finally coming home after weeks apart & this homemade pistachio n'ice cream 6 hours in the making 🍨😋
A lovely gin and soda water with lime at the pub last night. We had a fab time doing the Sugar Smart quiz I made for the campaign - it was bloody hard!
No one got more than 50%, and it was a hard quiz but some of the basic things were unknown too, like how much an adults daily recommended maximum sugar intake is (30g). That kind of knowledge is vital if we are going to get sugar smart!
Just featured on @SomerValleyFM with the Radstock and Westfield Big Local and a bunch of year 10 boys on their placement, talking about the Sugar Smart initiative!
I had a great time, and hopefully shocked some listeners enough that they'll change their sugar consumption habits. .
- Download the free change4life app to track your sugar (you can scan the barcodes on products to see how much is in there)
- read the label! Use the traffic lights system and go for green
- think before you drink. Will one fizzy drink, flavoured coffee, or fruit juice take you over the RDA of sugar?
- swap one sweet snack. What could you replace that choccy bar with. Piece of fruit? A Naked bar? Some nuts? Go on, be creative.
Tune in on the Somer Valley FM website!
MAGNIFICENT MONDAY || @noellekovary is an Ayurvedic practitioner, transformation mentor, wellness woman, and herbal Alchemist. She works with clients to inspire transformational shifts in their health and wellbeing. Her lifestyle programs infuse together the ancient practices of Ayurveda, sacred self-love rituals, plant-based nutrition, and herbal/superfood alchemy to cultivate the tools for intuitive healing and transcend into higher self. Her goal is to help others embody the brightest, most powerful, and joyful versions of themselves possible.
Q: What is your mantra of the moment?
A: I trust my intuition. I trust myself. My body guides me. I have all the answers inside.
Q: What magnificent project are you most excited about right now?
A: I have two exciting ventures are on the horizon! My lovely partner and I are launching a brand of Ayurvedic herbal tonic powders, called Sacred Organic Stuff. This is near and dear to my heart and I'm excited to spread more healing to the world! I'm also expanding my network of clients while launching my blog and website!
Q: What is the most recent lesson you learned?
A: Following your passions and connecting to higher source does not mean you have to drift apart from your partner. You don't have to take the same steps to be on the same path and to remain in deep love. It's about making room for each other's journey, openly accepting, loving and supporting each other. Ebbing and flowing into love.
Q: What omica product do you think is magnificent?
A: I swoon for the @omicaorganics vanilla liquid stevia, I have been using it for years! I also love to cool and calm my skin up using the rose lavender botanica mist.
Q: What’s one of your favorite recipes/ daily activities that incorporates Omica products?
A: I'm a tonic junkie so after my morning warm water with lemon and ginger I make an herbal tonic. I customize the tonic for what my body is needing for the day...but I usually go for a mix of ashwaganda, cordyceps, raw cacao, chaga, and liquid vanilla stevia (with a touch of homemade almond milk). It honestly tastes like an herbal coffee to me!
Amazing pasta for lunch made by mister. Tasted like tinned spaghetti but better. I think this was a bit of a 'there's no food in the house I'll just mix everything together' kind of meal... Spinach pasta, gluten free spaghetti, roasted leftover veggies, coconut cream and tomato passata sauce.
So tasty! Especially when it's made by someone else 😉

Dinner last night doubled up as lunch today, so it's easier to be #sugarsmart#vegan and #plasticfree
Buckwheat, roasted veggies (leek, courgette, aubergine, butternut squash, pepper, broccoli), tomato passata with coconut cream and turmeric, Linda McCartney chorizo style sausage (the original and rosemary style ones have sugar in them but these don't!), and fresh oregano. Mmmmm mm 👌
Added vegan cheese for my lunch too!

🎉🎁 GIVEAWAY TIME 🎁🎉 Because it’s Friday, and I’m feeling extra grateful for all of you. 🙏🏼 I teamed up with one of my favorite companies @omicaorganics ❤️ and we’re giving away a bottle of stevia. This is my absolute favorite brand of stevia, because it’s so pure, no additives, minimal processing, and there’s no weird aftertaste. For those of you who “don’t like stevia”, you haven’t tried this brand! Trust me. This is one of the best tools in giving up sugar (which we should all be on our way to doing!). My favorite flavor is the butterscotch toffee, but the lemon flavor is great to use in salad dressings! ——————————————————————
Here’s how to enter to win:
1️⃣ Follow me @rawfitnessandnutrition and @omicaorganics.
2️⃣ Like this post.
3️⃣ Tag 2 friends below! Tag additional friends for extra entries.

Had one of the best coffees of my life at @drunkthatcoffee @wonder.fields_festival this weekend. Oaty super frothy flat white in my #bamboo#reusable#coffeecup (thanks guys!). Almost rivalled the amazing coffee @cascarabath - I never thought I'd say it!
Love that you can get high quality food and drink at festivals now, and especially grateful for these guys just cos they're all awesome (and patient when I can't make up my mind).
Big ups guys!

As you know, I'm all about drinking a lot of water! BUT sometimes water gets plain old boring.
This "pink lemonade" is a staple in our house and its sugar free. 🙌🏻My whole family loves it! My daughter asks for her "juice" everyday and I have gotten my hubby to drink more liquids this way!
1. Cold brew 4 passion @tazo tea bags with 8 cups filtered water and let steep in the fridge for at least 2 hours
2. Remove tea bags
3. Add juice of one lemon
4. Add 3-4 full dropper fulls of liquid stevia. Im loving this new lemon stevia from @omicaorganics! 🍋
Just had such a nice, super fast and simple meal! Cous cous with tomato passata, coconut cream, and steamed carrot, beetroot, cabbage and great beans. Drizzled with a little Tahini and a sprinkle of fresh rosemary and oregano and voila! The flat bread is just wholemeal flour and water, mixed and fried super hot and fast -that's the way to get around most supermarket bread containing sugar! #sugarsmart#sugarsmartuk#vegan#vegansofig#tahinisauce#herb#couscous#sonicetheynamedittwice
