Throwback to last weekend at Wollongong.
The story behind this brekkie is quite funny. So, we got off at Wollongong(check out my post on a one day trip to The Gong). We were desperately looking for a cozy cafe as it was really cold outside. .We crossed the entire market street(forgot the correct name) and still could not find one. After walking for a bit, we did find one cafe. We sat in, all happy and ready to order but then the cafe staff came and told us that they were not serving breakfast anymore. Ah, you can not imagine the look on our faces because hey we all wanted the yummy pancakes and waffles. .And then right in front of us was this cafe but it was full. So we had to wait out for good 20 minutes to get a seat for 6.
The staff was very helpful and friendly though. We ordered our coffees in the mean time and by the time the coffee came, we got a place too. . But oh, it was freezing and drizzling. . Now, the coffee was not disappointing at all. In fact, it was so good that I had two in the span of 15 mins. I just wished it was a little bit more hot but hey that's just me. .If you are around Wollongong city centre, make sure you check out Lower East Cafe. You won't be disappointed and share your experience with me.
