The adventure begins a few back to back epically long 9hr days with 17km hikes.... the day before a short hike heading to base camp the sun lowers. The next morning there is a great view of where we are eventually heading, the summit.. living above the clouds....along the way I am always reminded I am really not alone... the final walk to the highest peak allows you the take in the breathtaking views of the remaining glaciers. So sad they are getting smaller year by year. I saw a picture 1930 and it's amazing the difference between then and now. After starting at 11:00pm the mission is accomplished and the summit is made!!!5895m, 19341ft....I could not have done it without these 2 guys.. some of the hardest working people I have met....thanks to the following.
