#sewphotohop day 26: Labour of love
Not sewing, but I crocheted this blanket for my firstborn and it took almost as long to make the blanket as it did the baby (which I also made! 😉)
I finished the last bits of the border in the beginnings of labour, and then it took me a further 44 hours, 6 minutes and a crash c-section to actually get her out, so that was a literal labour of love too!
Feels like the weekend already! Hoping to get these two finished in the next few days. Then one more gift to make for a friend and my order list will finally be empty (for now anyway)! Have a blessed Friday!
Good morning. The workmen were here at 8 am and the kitchen floor should be finished today. Then the decorators will be in after the Easter weekend and I'll get my favourite room back at last! Cracking on with this throw to welcome my kitchen sofa home - it has been away in storage along with the rest of the furniture for the past two months.
