There is nothing like the feeling of planning for the week on a Sunday evening. It’s like anything and everything is possible! 😆
I am so grateful for having this precious time for my mind to have the space to expand and focus. 🙏🏾 Last week was exhausting and trying. My focus for the week ahead is to do everything necessary in staying grounded, and to give myself permission to do just one thing to move the needle each day.

Why SO much work on a day of rest? Because THIS IS MY WEEK! I am ready to OWN this week! Come tomorrow I’m jumping back into my “normal” schedule. With a normal school week, no help (hubbys back to work and no more family staying with us), and prepping to open my very first health and fitness community of the year, I’m ready to take it all on👊 #bringit 💪
But first, I prep here in my planner because Lord knows (well unfortunately anyone who comes into contact with me knows lol) #MomBrain is a REAL thing! To make it a successful week I first write down my goals, lists, and responsibilities then execute...simple as that!😏

What is YOUR Sunday Routine?? 🤔
This year as of starting my Personal Training business it’s my mission to schedule in blocks of time for certain tasks! 👌🏼 My Tips for a successful Week are below👇🏼👇🏼 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
1️⃣ Plan out your week ahead on a Sunday, this doesn’t have to take for ever just a simple 10-15 minutes.
2️⃣ Invest in a diary/planner/journal! I’m currently loving my yearly @happinessplanner 🙌🏼 it’s literally improved my scheduling so much!
3️⃣ If exercise is part of your weekly routine, plan in your sessions, with times you will workout, how long for & what your focus will be! 💪🏼 4️⃣ Plan in time to spend with family, friends & loved ones! Commit to this as sometimes It can be hard to fit everything in, it’s ok to say NO to something else to spend quality time with close people in your life. ❤️
4️⃣ Fill your days with work, such as your day job, part time job, your growing business or college together. Free days can then be spent doing what you love & enjoy, resting, relaxing, your passion project. This has helped ME immensely because it means I’m not running around all the time. It enables time for YOU! 💗
5️⃣ Do a weekly grocery shop, organisation is key when planning meals, you may also want to do some meal prep in advance.
6️⃣ Schedule certain days to do certain tasks if this is possible E.G Monday’s are meant for online banking, paying any outstanding bills. Tuesdays are for cleaning your house, bedroom or apartment,etc. This has also helped me complete essential tasks rather than a endless list of jobs to do that never ends. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖

▪️Pamper day - where I have one day to myself & do all those girly things we all do 💅🏽
▪️Goal setting - plan my goals every Sunday by writing them all out in my journal & plan my week ahead 📝
My typical Sunday...
Jack's at football and I basically countdown the seconds until he returns to relieve me from this parenting duty for half an hour 🤣. I try to entertain the kids and get some planning done whilst they are distracted only for them to use me as a climbing frame as soon as I set myself up 😂
Still... Been quite productive today, dinner in the slow cooker, lunch in the oven, dishwasher and washing machine on and it's not even 10am 👏👊

I like to use my Sundays to GMST (get my shit together). I plan out my fitness, finances, and family related things for the week. I used to plan my food on Sundays as well, but I’m currently trying out a new routine for that 😉 however, on Sundays I do plan WHEN to make the food. What days are better for the crockpot meal? Which recipes are time consuming?

Today I’m sharing the truth behind these perfectly placed Instagram photos. What you don’t see is a mom trying to get her 1 year old to nap. On the first day back from winter break, the 2018 label for our classroom’s calendar was no where to be found! Completely vanished! I’m making sure this doesn’t happen for the next couples years 😏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sunday Detox. How to set the stage for a healthy and successful week. .
This is how I use every Sunday to prepare me for the week ahead. .
Step 1: Detox my mind. I start the day with 15 minutes of mediation then 15 minutes of prayer. .
Step 2: Review the past week. What worked , what didn't. Then make list of action needed to get back on track THIS week. This is also where I will review personal FINANCES. YES , I said it. Part of detoxing my stress levels is to be a good steward of my money. Saving more than I am spending. (Amazing how much stress this reduces when you accept responsibility for your financial choices)
Step 3: Sauna Detox and exercise. I use the #infraredsauna to get a deeper level of detoxification. Then I exercise (light) or do gentle yoga. Goal here is to recover from my week. ***Even if you don't have Sauna , move your body to at least get a light-moderate sweat going. .
Step 4: Attend Mass. Again, with respect to those of different spiritual or religious beliefs, my goal with this is to dedicate set TIME each week to grow closer to God. (Or whatever you choose to align with. ). Getting to connect to the Power greater than I. .
Step 5: Embrace the chaos !! Lol. Seriously , this process then allows me to be totally present with the craziness that can exist form having a lager family. .
This routine sets the tone for my WEEK. WHEN I don't do this, I feel like the week is LEADING ME... Which...leads to STESSS. And stress is NO BUENO. .
