A #yoga sequence to energize your #mondaymorning ☀️💪🏼 .
Do this #warrior sequence after a few #sunsalutations to warm up. It is a perfect standing sequence to feel invigorated!
Hold 5 breathings in each pose, breathe through nose moving the belly to massage organs & stimulate digestive system.
Be very careful on the alignment! If you are a beginner, look for professional guidance 😉 .
Warrior I: keep both feet on ground, back foot 45 degrees so hips are facing forward.
Warrior II: face palms down aligned with shoulders, keep knee behind toes, engage tailbone down while expand chest & feel tall lifting head.
Reverse Warrior: stretch one arm up over the head lengthening this side of torso. The other hand will reach back toward the other respective leg, creating a backbend. Keep 90 degree between your front thigh and shin.
Humble Warrior: fingers are interlaced, forcing hands up to stretch shoulders, chest opened with head going towards front heel. Both feet on ground with hip low.
Warrior III: keep arms aligned with back leg, spine straight aligned with head, hip bones facing down.

Long holds in traditional series. Why is it that practices that look simple, ie NO strong inversions or big binds, can be so challenging.
Really felt a variety of emotions flush through as each posture in this class on @yogaglo were held for up to 8 breaths.
Happy to report that I completed the whole practice even though my fridge was beckoning me 😁😂 Classes tonight:
⭐️Find BALANCE between movement and stillness- between effort and ease. ⭐️WEEK THREE of the BEGINNERS COURSE we will explore Sun Salutations and Balance poses. ⭐️During this lesson we ask ourselves- Are we participating fully in our poses/practice or do we need to soften and yield to the process? ⭐️More importantly-Can we stay present in stillness? The Truth is the absolute wholeness of being. The reality that underlies, descriptions, and interpretation. The belief that “I” exist is the apparition which creates separation, enables relationship, creates the appearance of gain and loss, which of course always neutralize each other in the end. Non-separateness is the only resting place for the disillusioned who know that nothing and no one will ever make you more whole.
SALUTE THE SUN☀️I have been feeling some dark vibes lately. A sweet, mature, passionate darkness. My current intention is to accept it, baring in mind the sun shines every day, on and off the mat. During the night as our muscles rest, fluids build up between layers of connective tissue, causing the body to feel stiff. Teaching at yesterday‘s charity event. #yogaagainstbreastcancer . Did you know that breastcancer is the most common cancer in women worldwide? And the second most common reason for death among women? But to also share the good news. Death rates have been decreasing since 1989 which are the results of better research, treatment advances, earlier detection through screening and increased awareness.
