Document written by IV AK(Fourth Army Corps) Commander Colonel A.J.Svensson, dated 21.06.1941.
This document was send directly to Army's HQ, it's about honouring some soldiers with medals.
I"ll try to translate the interesting part: "Attached are my delayed recommendations for Mannerheim Cross receivers. I'm advocating awarding res.Capt. Juutilainen and putting him relatively high on a list of deservers. Even though it's a bit hard to find out his real merits after all this buzz around him, it's obvious that he showed very large personal bravery and with his example infused courage and confidence to his troops, especially in the beginning of the Winter War."
This document arrived to HQ just a day before the Continuation War started. But on a later phase of war alcohol that stopped Juutilainen's army career in the '30s caused problems, again. He was taken out from the position of Battalion Commander. During spring 1944 on a list of receivers there was short marking after his name: "No". The Terror of Morocco didn't receive Mannerheim Cross of Liberty. His brother Flying Ace Ilmari was nominated twice.
