A little over a year ago @sarabutton and the kind folks @TheDentonite allowed me to invade their Instagram with tales of the local weird and whimsical! It was such a blast and I’m always tickled when folks bring it up! I am eternally grateful for that opportunity ♥️♥️♥️ I’m been toying with the idea of making some ghosties.... 👻👻👻
I wrote my first blog post a couple weeks ago and finally published it to my website. It's about WHY ART is important. Not just drawings and paintings, but music, ceramics, leather work, jewelry, dance, wood work, and all the other varieties-- all art, all of it! You can check it out by clicking the link in my bio. ✨
It took a long time for me to come around to the overall idea of a blog post. I'll be honest, I have dug my heels in about blogging, it brings up a lot of fear (for me) about being self-indulgent and narcissistic. But, if I have learned anything these past couple years it's that my fears are meant to be observed, recognized, and then ran over. Its my mission right now to charge toward the very thing that makes my insides squirm.
Lastly, my website is still under construction as I prepare to upload some goodies... so... forgive me.
