This coming week is a "pep talk" week for me. You know, the kind of week where you just have to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself "you've got this" even though you might not lol. Between final school papers, work schedules and myriad of other items, it's easy to feel anxious going into Monday. The truth is I don't have it all together, and certainly my attempts to make it through my busy week on my own just isn't feasible. But weeks like this make me realize my lack of control and my ever-growing need for my Savior. In the midst of chaos, He is good, present and abundantly able ❤️ So if you're already thinking about Monday and what it will bring, rest knowing that you don't have to have it all together.

Thousands of protestors have formed a 90-kilometer human chain around the border triangle of #Germany , #Belgium and the #Netherlands to demand the closure of the two reactors at Belgium’s Tihange and Doel #nuclear power stations.
The organizers said that 50,000 people from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands joined the action Sunday.
The human chain originated from the Tihange plant, located in Huy municipality in the Wallon province of Liege in Belgium, going through Maastricht in the Netherlands to end in the German city of Aachen.
So what can a Zero Waste Lifestyle do for you? We are always talking about what it can do for the environment, which is wonderful of course! But there are actual benefits to your health and wellbeing as well! 🌍You will eat better quality fruits and vegetables 🥒 sourcing them from markets & dedicated fruit & veg shops. You will also likely eat more of them because animals products are difficult to source plastic free. And anyways, a diet higher in plant based food is always going to be better for you and the environment. 🌍 You will stop eating so much processed food. I don't even like to call it food, because it not real food and is damaging to your health. Not only does it come packaged in plastics but most of it is full of sugar and preservatives.
🌍 You will kick the sugary drinks. I haven't had a Soda/fizzy/processed drink for 8 years. I don't miss it one bit. I used to "need" several Coffees and caffeine based soda to get through the day. I gave up cold turkey. Done. I might have the odd kombucha or green juice here or there but that's about it. 🌍 You will remove nasty chemicals from your home. You do not need to "disinfect" anything (well unless you have a serious immune system problem) If fact we cause ourselves problems because we are too clean. Always killing off everything. Some bacteria is actually helpful.
🌍 You will save money 💰 yep seriously, if the rest didn't convince you this one might! We save at least 30% on our shopping maybe more, and we get the best quality foods available to us. You also save money buying second hand items, and by generally just not buying shit you don't need. True story. 🌍 You will not be putting so many AWFUL chemicals on yourself. If you still use conventional make up/lotions/hair dye/face wash/toners etc I challenge you to go and look at the back of the pack at the ingredients. It's horrendous. They are filled with endocrine disruptors, carcinogens and neurotoxins, most of which have not been independently reviewed for safety before hitting the shelves. Your skin is your biggest organ and it absorbs what you put on it. If you can't eat it it really shouldn't be going on your skin 🙅

Class is in Session! Here is some wonderful information about the Georgian Period (1714 – 1830) This wonderful Georgian Style room is painted in the beautiful Calke Green by Farrow & Ball
The Georgian era is often referred to as The Age of Elegance. The most important element in Georgian Interiors is perfect proportion alongside carefully balanced colours.
Georgian rooms typically included several decorative features such as plaster and stuccowork, elaborate doorways, panelling, gilding or marble effect paint work. The colours used were muted and sophisticated, a look perfectly suited to the Farrow & Ball palette.
To create this look choose dirtied colours like Mouse’s Back, Dead Salmon, Lichen, Pigeon and Picture Gallery Red. Typically these would have had a sheen so Modern Emulsion would be the most appropriate finish to choose.
As the style evolved, colour became lighter with the use of dusky pinks like Setting Plaster, soft greys like Pavilion Gray, and cleaner greens and blues like Folly Green and Lulworth Blue as well as the introduction of strong yellows like India Yellow. All these would be used in a matt finish like our Estate Emulsion.
If you are lucky enough to have original plaster work or panelling then colours like Off-White, Fawn and Olive would be most appropriate.
you know you're a gym rat when you go twice in one day 😅I had to document this booty pump and boy I'm feeling good. 🙌🏻 also this lady caught me taking this selfie and just awkwardly smiled walking away. 😂Oh well 🤷♀️ no shame in taking progress pics. Also it's funny how people technically aren't supposed to take pics in the gym locker room but do it anyways lol Hope y'all had a great day 💕#slimthick#bootyprogress

It's officially Summer in the U.S., which means beach weather for those living or traveling to the coasts! Guys, looking for new swim trunks? Look no further than @rizboardshorts, a board short company that makes their apparel from recycled plastic bottles! The rPET fabric is made from plastic bottles in their manufacturing facility in Taiwan, and is used because synthetic fibers are most practical for swimwear (natural fibers will absorb the water and become bulky). Riz Boardshorts also donates £3 for each pair of shorts sold, to The Marine Conservation Society. The brand also has a recycling program, where you can donate your unwanted trunks so they can reuse the fabric in exchange for 25% off a new pair.
