Monday’s always have me feeling motivated, but this Monday has me more motivated than usual.
I decided to take pictures every week while doing my MMA inspired workout program to hold myself accountable to my goals through Christmas. I took my week 1 after photos this morning to find that I’m down 3 pounds and I’ve also lost an inch off my stomach and my hips!
But the reason this makes me so motivated is because I compared it to my original “before” photo - back to where it all started in 2015. Sure, my journey has been slow - so many life changes in almost 3 years have led to a lot of emotional eating, but I’m finally seeing results. I’m finally proving to myself that this “health and fitness thing” is totally possible.
The girl on the left never thought the girl on the right would see these results. She took before pictures knowing in the back of her mind that she would be taking the same pictures again months down the road with no progress. But then something changed.
This girl found an online community full of accountability to help reach her goals. Every day this girl gets to check in with some amazing people, share her goals for the day, and has people waiting to check in with her at the end of the day to see how the day went. And, good or bad, these people always have this girl’s back and are always cheering her on along the way.
If you’ve tried time and time again to get healthy but nothing seems to stick, I’d love to introduce you to the amazing online community I’m a part of. I would not have been able to finally have a success story without it, and I want you to see success in your life as well.

I get in a bonus arm workout constantly throwing the ball and a bit of cardio chasing them around the yard. 🙈 It’s about impossible to get good pics of these cuties so 3 out of 4 paying attention isn’t bad. My workout was done before 8 am, I deep cleaned the kitchen, did dishes + emptied the dishwasher, and Kyle cooked us lunch on the stove.
Now it’s time to slow it down a bit and spend sometime with Daisy girl. 🐶💕
