chocolate attack! 🍫
after a long five days without my iPhone, after a long five days not being able to take shots and post pictures of what we have cooked, have baked and where we’ve been, it's time to make a cake that's easy, impressive, delicious and very chocolaty – it's time for chocolate crêpe cake! mix together 1 cup or 140 g of flour, 3 eggs, a pinch of vanilla extract or vanilla sugar and 2 cups or 500 ml of milk. melt 2 tbsp or 25 g of butter and stir it in the mixture. melt another 1 tbsp or 13 g of butter in pan and make crêpes until the mixture has been completely used, you should make about 25 crêpes. spread every single crêpe with Nutella and palce them one on another, but don't spread the last one, the crêpe on top. put the layers of crêpes and Nutella in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. meanwhile melt fm the oven and set aside to cool. meanwhile melt 1 cup or 150 g of chocolate over water bath, add 2 tbsp or 25 g of sour cream for the ganache and pour it over the crêpe cake. refrigerate the cake for another 15 minutes and while cooling make your candied hazelnuts for the decoration. make caramel by cooking 1 cup or 200 g of sugar in ¼ cup or 60 ml of water over medium heat stirring occasionally until caramel comes to boil. remove from heat, dip in hazelnuts and put them on a skewer on a shelf over a paper, letting the caramel harden while dripping over the edge. when the caramel has hardened, remove skewers, take the cake out of refrigerator, decorate it with your amazing hazelnuts and attack yourself and your guest with this mouthwatering and impressive chocolate crêpe cake!
