Good morning and TGIFriday! Starting off the day with another bowl of goodness. Roasted chili sweet potatoes with caramelized Brussels and onions, roasted garlic chickpeas, half a small avocado, roasted mini peppers and a soft boiled egg. Hope you have a great day!
I could eat this every day of my life...2 poached eggs over avocado toast, watermelon and pineapple, sweet potato. Herbs & Spices used: celtic sea salt, fresh cracked pepper, dried parsley, smoked paprika, chili powder, cinnamon. #breakfast#sunday#eggs#avocado#foodfirst
When I first started seeing my partner I knew he had worked as a chef, but I was picturing him casually working in a pub or something, I didn't realise he had worked in mint Italian restaurants. So when he suggested we have spaghetti for dinner one night, and we went to the shops and I went to grab a jar of dolmio sauce off the shelf he looked at me like 'da fuq?' 😂🙊 safe to say he makes the tastiest home made spaghetti sauce that I now use as a base for basically all my Italian dishes 🙌🏼 and no he didn't plate this up, his would look much better 🙈😝#Italian#pasta#lentil#zucchini#sweetpotato#foodie#chef#hubby#eating#wellness#wholefoods#vegan
Don’t Eat for the Sake of it
Christmas means an excess of delicious foods around. Now, just because there are good and leftovers lying around doesn’t mean they need to be eaten ASAP. Especially the days after Christmas continue to enjoy these treats but don’t eat them just cause they are there. Only eat when your hungry & stop when you're satisfied. You don’t have to finish all the pavlova just because it’s staring at you in the fridge telling you to do so.
Be mindful and eat when hungry and avoid snacking, it sounds so simple but goes such a long way in saving you calories unwanted weight gain.

There was only enough rice to cook for 2 people and no fresh meat,,, so the solution was to make a risotto. Butter, egg, Parmesan cheese and sweet potato add the necessary volume with canned salmon to give little bit of meaty flavour. It was actually pretty good.
Ingredients: for 4 middle weight healthy adults
Rice 250g or 300g (I don’t remember)
Chicken stock 500ml (real stock the better)
Parmesan cheese 15g or more if you like it cheesy.
Sweet potato 1 medium size.
Canned salmon x 1 (fresh would be better but I didn’t have one)
Onion x 1 bigger the better.
10g of butter.
Egg x 4.
Whatever veggies to add. I only had broccoli,,,
Black pepper, as much as you want. #australia#centralcoast#dinner#homecooking#homemade#risotto#italianfood#godforsakenkitchen#cannedsalmon#boiledeggs#sweetpotato#rice#onion
