Besides running & spinning; a favorite cardio machine we love is the stairmaster! No matter how many times you do the stairmaster, it never gets easier 😩😩 These are 2 types of movements we do to make the time fly by!
Keys to be efficient on the stairmaster:
🔹Try not to hold on to the handle bars/rail; you definitely burn more calories!
🔹If you have to decrease the level/speed to achieve this, ain’t no shame!
🔹If you must hold on, try not to lay on the machine or lean on it, stand upright with light placement on the bars and let your legs do most of the work! 🔥🔥

Leg Day with hubby @quincywinklaar and PB @kevin_gooptar. On the menu was roasted quad followed by slow braised hamstring. Hubby was not happy, but he did the work. Last set of 6 total sets. 6-8 reps of body extended heavy hamstring curls followed by 10 seated leg curls with 10 partials (applying a small extra resistance halfway through the range of motion to ensure control and constant tension). Sometimes it’s a good idea to “follow” instead of leading, in order to step outside your comfort zone and change up the game in order to break plateaus. It’s a mental challenge too because you never know what to expect, you just have to roll with the punches and push through. Now that I see these two pics side by side, I think "Wow... That's a nice tie!" Lol
But in all seriousness, that's a pretty BIG transformation. I believe that in the left pic I was almost 300 lbs., give or take. In the right pic, I was less than 250. That black shirt was about a XXXL, while the blue shirt is an XL/XXL. I got it for Christmas the year before and I couldn't button it up at all!
The one constant, however, was my fiance @pinkprincess_82. As you can see she also joined me on this weight loss journey. I started it to support her journey and I ended up staying my own. We both support one another through the struggles. And although we have different goals, we are right there for each other at the finish line!

Shoutout to Coach BY’s client Cooper (@fitnesscoop11) for his hard work these last few weeks. They say nutrition is 80% of the deal - and his transformation in such a short period of time is living proof. I took a look at his food journal - and immediately applied changes that not only helped him burn fat, and fuel his workouts better; but flush out excess water retention as well. Just an average college student who enjoys working out, and is looking to bring his best physique to fruition.
