One for the road to keep me from dehydrating! I don't drink soft drink so I drink just over 2 litres of water a day and because I always get thirsty, I used to buy bottled water from servos for up to $4 or $5 PER BOTTLE but since having Curo in my fridge all the time, I realised how much money I've wasted on inferior products!! This was almost a year ago (100kgx10) when I first started deadlifting. It’s insane to think how much my form and strength improved over 6 months before I changed my training style.
Back in September I decided lifting heavy weights wasn’t an enjoyable way for me to move anymore (I still do weights every now and then when I feel like it, but it’s no longer my focus). I was so bored in the gym that I resented going. So what did I do? I didn’t stop going. Instead, I changed my training style. I changed to HIIT (high intensity interval training) and plyometrics based training because I wanted to be an absolute weapon! I wanted to be able to run fast, jump high, and push every physical ability I have to be an absolute ninja!
Basically all I’m saying is moving your body should be fun! You shouldn’t have to struggle to move your body, and if you do, you’re moving wrong! What you need to do is find something that excites you! I guarantee when you find something that excites you, you won’t have to be ‘motivated’ to do it.
I really need to stretch more before and after workouts. I've been slacking on it the last few months since my increased mobility with my hip replacement and I really need to get back into my stretching routine. #StretchLikeSlaughter

I was lucky enough to be in Queenstown last week so made a weekend trip down to Milford Sound. Kayaking through the beautiful fjord ....
Kayaking is great for working your upper body and keeping your cardiovascular fitness interesting. Not to mention it also is great connecting with nature which can boost your mood. 💪🏻😄
