Piece I did for one of my truest homegirls @starrshynes birthday, commissioned by her husband who kept refers to her as "my queen.
Inspired by the nine of Pentacles, a card I forever associate with her cause she's a serious boss. 💗

The Moon tarot card.
Mixed media collage.
This is number eighteen of the Major Arcana and is an entirely feminine card.
The Moon in the tarot represents the mystic, internal, hidden wisdom of the questioner; it is at a point at which it is ready to be balanced with the male aspects of external, physical, consciousness.
The vicious animal represents some obstacle to the realisation of the card. The lobster represents the baser female elements and it is keeping in the lower part of the card but possibly crossing, or forming a bridge, over the water. An interpretation of this is emasculation, for example, or the feeling of being undermined.
The pyramids are the twin towers, as forbidding as The Tower card, defending or attending The Moon.
The insight offered by this card is demonstrated by the All-Seeing-Eye and the importance of balance, light and dark, day and night, is emphasised by the enormous form of the moth.
Ultimately the card offers intuition and warns against illusion.
