Well, this proves that sometimes they are drunk sometimes when they're designing new sets. "YEAH DUDE INDESTRUCTIBLE HORSES IT'LL BE CRAZY" this will be crazy in limited if you can get enough life gain to go with it
And the base. For the rock I used insulation foam as cork is not available near by. Shaped with exacto knife then sculpted with dremmel using cutting disk and soft nylon brush.
For glowing effect used glow in the dark paint. Poured over the base in 3layers without diluting. I like that some of it dripped. For bounced light used mix of fluorescent yellow, fluorescent red and glow in the dark orange.
It was last year when I first played TERRAFORMING MARS. I remember getting upset with the art/photo used. And I remember no desire to play the game again. However, humans are fickle and today, I completely changed my mind. Terraforming Mars is a very, very fun game that I would play again in a heartbeat.
So I've been out of 'the hobby' for awhile, and this game (which I have referenced with some almighty cool artwork to get the feel of the setting) almost completely fell off my radar because of my absence. That being said my next big project (seeing as I loved playing Mordheim in 2012) in terms of 'the hobby' will be to build up miniatures and a game board to create narrative in the setting of Frostgrave. It is a frozen city where motley warbands led by mysteries and powerful wizards battle the unknown, each other and the dead, as the ancient city of Felstad defrosts. 💀⚔️🕯
