Enjoy my persona from Charterstone, posted so that I don't get thrown off the internet for spoilers 😅
That being said, some of you were interested in my honest review of the game. First off, I really enjoy the game and my husband does as well. We are playing a two person campaign with no autonoma.
Here are some things I really enjoy about the game:
It is a strong worker placement, that is fast moving yet still interactive.
You really can control the pace of each session, we have had sessions that last 30 minutes and sessions that last 2 hours.
The artwork is welcoming, yet neat and easy to read.
The quality of the components is superb. This is especially important considering that a lot of those components are stickers that have permanent effect on gameplay.
Here are some things that in my opinion could be improved:
Some of the icongraphy can be difficult to follow. This is less of a problem though because of the helpful community, which Jamey himself.often answers the questions.
The rules could be clearer in places. Things like the fact that you cannot build outside your charter could be clearer at the beginning of the game.
Sometimes with all the additional rules it's easy to lose track of some rules. (User error, but can significantly impact game play). #charterstone#stonemaiergames#bgg#boardgamegeek#tabletopgames#tabletopgaming#boardgames#legacygame#workerplacement#boardgamesandchill
