Space Wolves have fangs! And I was disappointed that mine didn’t. So now he has! 😂 I built them up using white paint, a bit like a stalactite, using a little bit of violin bow hair as the ‘brush’. I play violin, don’t worry, I didn’t just go buy a violin bow for this. I needed something that could hold a drop of paint but be small enough not to hit the rest of his mouth when I poked it in there. Goddamnit that sounds wrong!! Anyway, now he has fangs!! Grrrrrr!!!! 🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻
Big trouble in little China: the game by Everything Epic Games is a 1-4 player cooperative game. The game board is a little frantic at a glance but all of the mechanics in the demo clicked together. Definitely a game to watch if you like coops.

I've posted about it already but I feel I can't say enough about how attendees and indeed the staff at conventions make them for me. The Steamforged Games team were outstanding all weekend (especially for putting up with me pouncing on them with no warning). These silly moments I like to post as a way to look back later and remember the faces and the great memories that are linked to everyone I met. I may need a new thesaurus for all the positive adjectives I throw around these days so I'll simply say that I'm thankful and hope our coverage did the event proud.
Alright, let's discuss Noria for a moment. It was one of the most anticipated game from Essen, without a doubt. It looks gorgeous and the action wheels are very intriguing, to say the least. I played two games in the same day. I did not really enjoy my first game, so I figured I'd try it again to confirm my thoughts. Overall, the action wheels are, indeed, very interesting. You have to build it to be as efficient as possible, which is not as simple as it might seem. Other than that, the game is a plain and flat euro. I'd go as far as to say that it's pretty boring, actually. There is minimal player interaction. We even played with the advanced version where all the islands are already out and you can only move to the islands connecting to the one your governor is on. But still, it was very restrictive and not really engaging. Overall, Noria did not live up to the hype its look creates. It's gonna be a hard pass for me from now on...
Played my first game of Queendomino today and I loved it! 😃 It's a great upgrade to Kingdomino, with lots of different paths to victory. Love the addition of the knights, towers and buildings. Can't wait to play it again with more people 😁
