It has been a busy busy Fall but we didn’t want to forget about these two couples that said their “I dos” a year ago. Happy anniversary!! One year down, forever to go!

Tomorrow morning I’ll be heading up to Woodinville for an Engagement Session with one of my 2018 Couples and I couldn’t be happier about it... Because frankly, nothing excites my heart more than capturing two people who are madly in love with one another.
Thank you to all the lovely humans messaging me about this bouquet!! It’s funny because I kind of hated this one, when I looked back at pictures of it. As a creative, I have a bad habit of downplaying myself. Anyone else?!

Walking back into Instagram after being one of the many locked out this morning like these 2 on their wedding day...except not as put together, gorgeous, or dapper.

If you’ve been following along on my journey for a bit now you know that I have been lucky enough to attend 2 @sinclairandmoore workshops. I will be doing a blog post on just how much attending those workshops meant to me later this year (because I could seriously go on and on) but please know that those workshops have been pivotal in enabling me to build and expand my business. Not only did I learn the basics techniques and practices I need to delve into and elevate the floral design portion of my offerings, but I also learned about how to operate in a way that will make sure that I can continue to do what I love for a long time to come. Like a lot of people out there, I continue to follow along on Steve & Jamie’s business and personal journey so when I saw they were hosting a webinar with @ifimade I made sure I tuned in and I’m so glad I did. During the webinar I leaned that they would be launching a new digital course: “A New Approach to Weddings”. This course the most expansive online offering I have ever seen and, like everything they do, Steve & Jamie have put a lot of care and thought into how to help others succeed. Though I have attended the workshops in person I am also purchasing the digital course because it expands on what I have already learned and allows me access to the tools they use, and gives me the opportunity to tag along with them to one of their real weddings (yessssss!). Attending Steve’s workshops have inspired me, challenged me, reinvigorated me, and allowed me to dream bigger than I ever have before. Learning from him has truly been a gift that I don’t ever think I will be able to repay…and now having access to this course will allow me to expand myself and my business even more. In the last workshop I took I remember Steve asking me “What’s holding you back?”…it was a breakthrough moment for me. He asked it in such a way that I suddenly realized that nothing is holding me back and I committed to getting out of my own way, unleashing my ability and showing what I can really do. No more playing small. I hope you join me on this new learning adventure and maybe we can meet up and chat about all the amazingness we learn!
It’s been a busy season and a while since we’ve done a #TuesdayTip ! As most of us in the PNW know, rain is a factor when considering having an outdoor wedding. Especially, this time of year! It’s important to have a solid and easy-to-execute Plan B but it’s even more important to have great attitude! You can’t control the weather, so don’t try. The Bride & Groom are the stars of the day and your attitude is going to set the tone for the whole celebration! You’re marrying the love of your life so if rain on your wedding day is the most tragic thing you encounter...PLUS overcast skies make for the best photo lighting!!
Sitting at the King County Courthouse, waiting to be screened for Jury Duty, reading about the shooting in Vegas last night...it pisses me off that the shooter will never be tried in a court of law. He ruined so many lives and like a coward, took the easy way out. Wish I was waiting to be screened for his trial. Praying for everyone impacted and thankful that all our industry friends, attending the @theweddingmba conference in LV, are safe!! #PrayforLasVegas
I met these two back in 2015, when Myles was just a Groomsmen in one of my weddings. From acquaintance to roommate to wedding planner, it’s always been clear that they were made for each other! Cheers to you, Mr & Mrs McDonald!!
Yesterday was an absolute dream. Over the moon excited for these wonderful humans!! Huge thanks to you guys for trusting me with the vision of your big day and to the killer team that made it happen! Definitely a highlight of my season.

My favorite mountain + my favorite guy + an AMAZING photographer + a deer walking right by us = I totally felt like a princess taking these photos. Thank you, @ksphotos1011 for making Joey feel comfortable and me smile before 9:30 AM. 💙💍
That wedding day feeling!! Can’t believe it’s already been over a month since these two said “I do.” Thanks to J & J for the sweet sneak peeks and the wonderful review!
. . .
We’re headed out for wedding 1 of 2 this weekend. Fingers crossed for a break in the drizzle. Either way, it’s going to be a beautiful day!

Make time for the little moments during your wedding day.
The world spins at a million miles per hour on the day of your wedding. You'll forget moments, you'll forget what your schedule. It all flys out the window. So make some wiggle room when you plan your day so you can relax a little and take the edge off and keep it off!
I'm leaving a peek of an arrangement I made last night just so I have an excuse to tell you all about the dream I had...If you know me, you know my love of pizza is REAL. I woke this morning from a dream that included me being at an industry event with my husband, where I won a voucher for a free pizza from Beckie at (@vintageambiance). The hubs and I were driving home and passed the pizza placed and I told him to stop so I could redeem my voucher...and he refused again and again. We argued the whole way home and I refused to talk to him at all. So he got mad and told me he was buying a plane ticket and leaving and I stole his phone and hid it so he couldn't. The best part about it was when I told my husband about this dream this morning he said..."sounds about right..." 😂
