I had six days off and it rained for all but one. So I took advantage of the sunshine only for the clouds to roll in when I reached the mountain. Still a peaceful though slippery trek to the top with pit stops at shrines, temples and waterfalls. Glad I went though because rain is forecasted for the next week as a typhoon is coming.
Soba (hand-stretched by the lady next door), Clay pots (molded by the man across the street), Veggies (picked by the Takao local farmer)... I was amazed by the sense of community at this mountain top village🗻 #sustainableliving

Morning! Taking a break from the 'gram until my next batch of 35mm is dev'd and scanned at the end of the week (followed by my first set of 120 from the Pentax 645) to focus on the non-social media world! Toodles ☀️
I'd like to thank my friends @akkihiroe @stilly.nanos @son_cav for waiting for me to catch my breath and lift my heavy booty up mt.takao i couldnt have done it without our go up and hill for a bit and rest a lot and take pics strategy
That feeling of finally reaching the top knowing u didnt half-ass it with the cable car was awesome💕
The muscle pain and soreness that lasted for 4 days was a clear indication that i should get moving more 😂
