With a balancing act of a hefty to do list and a constant battle of a cold, I've decided to rest this week. Its hard to make yourself clear the schedule and put off a few things to just in order to slow down and let your body mend. But I am thankful for this speed. Life is getting really exciting in my world but self love is still important to focus on!
Well not going to lie I didn't expect to be aching this much this morning and without sufficient amount of sleep I've called in my rest day early. Bit disapointing but NECESSARY.
But we all need to know WHEN to take a breather and realise that we have done A LOT to get to the places of where we are!
Appreciation of one's self is a new start to self love, a new attitude and preparation to what's to come ahead!
So, I've been talking with such an amazing girl just recently and with our conversations I'm so thankful for because she's shared with me so much, and I couldn't be happier to have been apart of something that means everything to her as well as myself with the path I'm now on away from the kitchen and making it into a full time career, she's given me a glimpse of how AMAZING it feels to make someone else feel GREAT about THEMSELVES! The fact I was ABLE to do that?! It makes me appreciate everything I've done to get to where I am and what has happened right now in such a small amount of time! I DID THAT! ME! And that's only just the start she's now starting a new army of friends and showing pride from what she's gone through to how she she is now and I couldn't be happier to see that I've contributed to her happiness.

NEW MOON As we head into the equinox later this week this new moon is a time to focus on beginnings, what is needed to reset and how you can support this? How would you like to see yourself grow and develop in the months ahead? What would you like to bring to life? Now is a powerful time to connect with our intention, and sow the seeds of new creation. Take some time tonight to concsiously look at where you would like a reset, what needs to go, and honour this in the coming days. At the same time as writing down your clear intentions for manifestation of the coming months. And then.... set them free.... take intentional steps towards your dreams without getting attached to the outcome.
It’s hard when you’re so busy in one area of your life that you can barely catch a breath in the others. The careful routines, the well-built habits, get pushed aside for expediency’s sake. Do more do more do more-I feel like that’s all I have been hearing in my brain these last couple of weeks at work. But solace comes in the most unexpected of places. In this case, via a well-articulated post by a friend (who is without a doubt even busier than me) that we only have one life, and we have to show up for it-even if it means something as small as appreciating an unexpected rainbow. 🚗💦🌈 Thanks @thismessygrace
Mindful Breath // Pause your movement for a moment, come to physical stillness. Exhale your breath then slowly and mindfully bring a deep long breath into your body, hold for 3 seconds and then slowly release. Maybe close your eyes for an inwards gaze. Try this a few times. How do you feel?
Mindful deep breathing will help you relax, ease physical tension, pour more oxygen into the cells of your body, improves detoxification and the oh so wonderful happy endorphins are released creating a feeling of calm 🌳
