“I hope your life is full of ‘I can’t believe I did this’ moments rather than ‘I should’ve done it’ moments” - a quote by wedding dress maker, Catherine Deane. I read this yesterday and it rang very true for us here at Team ChiChi. ChiChi and I have had the thought “I can’t believe we’re doing this” countless times—when ChiChi is in the water tank for hydrotherapy, when ChiChi hopped in her cart for the first time, when my husband and I scooped ChiChi up from beneath the bush in the middle of the woods and promised we’d care for her and get her the help she needed—I’ve always been in disbelief that we’ve taken a chance and that it’s actually worked. That same thought has been in the back of my mind while creating these 2018 calendars, too. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long, long time but have always been uncertain of how to do it and if anyone would actually want one. Well, as I’m sitting here, wrapping and packing up ChiChi’s calendars to ship all around the world to many of you sweet, sweet friends, we’re so glad that this is one of those times that we can say “I can’t believe we did this!” Now it’s your turn, sweet friends! Take a chance; I betcha it will work!! Thank you for your love and support, always.
What’s something you’ve done that’s made you say “I can’t believe I did it!”??? #takeachance#bebrave#gogetem#agirlnamedcharles
Holy crap....I did it! I finished another 2 years of schooling & completed my Masters! College years have taught me so much that I will have with me for a lifetime now. Also, I couldn't have done it without my awesome family & my boyfriend. So thank you @s_doe for listening to me always complaining about spending my sundays in the library finishing my final project. Your the best ever babe! As for what is next for me, I will be going to Tampa in January to start personal training at crunch fitness Tampa palms. I will always remember my memories at uwf & in Pensacola. Thanks for being what I called home for 6 years.👩🏼🎓💙💚✨ #masterscompleted#ms#uwfgraduate#uwf
It is a good feeling to do what you once thought you couldn't.
If you don't try you'll never know and I know there's a part of you that wants to find out.
Other than feeling good you'll realize a new skill, talent or abilities that would have remained dormant if you don't try.
Sometimes it's when we leave our comfort zone that we finally surprised ourselves and many times others with the greatness that we have within.
It's your time and the thing about finding out what you are good at or what you may have a tremendous love for, you will have to try.
Trying is you giving yourself a chance of exploring more of life's possibilities.
That leads to this: Have you ever tried something that you once thought you couldn't do? How did you feel when you finally realized that you can actually do it?
I bet the feeling was a good one.
What you are thinking about now and feared may not turn out well may grant you the same feeling as you had before from trying and succeeding at what you once thought you couldn't.
IT IS OUR WILLINGNESS TO PROVE TO OURSELVES WE CAN THAT REVEALS OUR GREATNESS.
Definitely not feeling like myself today - no workout because I’m letting my body rest and no appetite (thanks cold).
This smoothie is one of the few things I actually feel like eating today. It’s filled with good stuff that my body needs (antioxidants, prebiotics, digestive enzymes, all 9 essential amino acids, and so much more). I’m thankful that I have this quick and easy smoothie to give my body all the nutrients that it needs.
