It’s good to talk: it’s courageous, brave, wise and necessary. Nothing good comes from bottling up our emotions and hiding from our demons; it only gives them power over us until they end up far bigger problems than they were to begin with.
Today was a day of talking, of communication and sharing. Opening up between two people and helping one to find some clarity out of confusion; to put right any misconceptions and fears while supporting and reminding them we are always here for them. I am always here for them, any time of day no matter what the reason is I will be there. There is no shame in suffering, and no shame in asking for help. I hope today is the first big leap toward getting better for good for them, and I’ll be here every step of the way.
We must all remember everyone is fighting different battles, whether we know/realise or not. Be kind to everyone; be kind to all kinds. Compassion and love goes a long way, so does showing you care and offering a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and advice where needed/when asked for.
You yourself are number 1 priority in making sure you are ok, well, and stable; but i believe we can all do our little bit to help those around us while we still ensure we look after ourselves. It’s only when the balance becomes uneven that we should realign - too self centred can be detrimental, as can only helping others and forgetting to look after yourself. .
Sampai bila pun takkan jumpa org yg kau impikan .. Tapiiiiii tak ape laa aku doakan allah sentiasa berikan yg terbaik untuk kau .. #takecare #

So today is Friday and I know a lot of people have plans to go out with friends, to party and have fun - since it's time to relieve stress and everyone wants to let go of the worries they've had during the week, right? But at the same time there are people who for some reason are going to stay at home and feel bad about it - as if they were real losers for missing “all the fun” out there. Well, I just wanted to remind you that this idea that we're only cool people if we're doing things all the time is something that's imposed by society and I know how much it weighs on our mental health. Yes, some like to go out whenever they have a chance and are happy as well, but others do not feel so much the need for a super active social life - and this is totally ok. I believe it’s important to find time to know places, breathe new air and have good times with loved ones, but it is also very important to to enjoy your own company and respect your need at that moment. For example, I am not a party person and very often (as a typical Taurus lol) I prefer to stay at home - which made many people judge me and put me down for it like I was weird and lame. I went out several times just to feel "cool" and had a terrible night, full of frustration and stress, simply because I did not respect what I truly wanted: just to be comfortably at home. The idea that staying in over the weekend is something sad is wrong and we need to stop imposing it on all people. We are different and each of us has a way of life that should be respected - staying in with a pet watching a good movie on a Friday night is a bit tedious for some, while for others it is the idea of a perfect night and it’s fine. There are no winners or losers, only different visions of having fun and there’s no reason to judge. Do what works for you and don’t push yourself to match any expectations - it's your life 💖💛💖 #mentalhealth#mentalhealthawareness#selflove#friday#weekend#netflix#illustration#art#mentalhealthtips#mentalhealthmatters#mentalhealthwarrior
If you know me, you’ve seen my hair been through some shit over the years.. everything from Green Day to Cisqo, it has seen it all! Looking good can come at a price, and all of this can damage your hair. .
Just like any other part of your body, your body’s hair, skin and nails require a variety of different nutrients to be healthy. While some determining factors, such as age and genetics, are out of your control when it comes to determining the health of your hair, skin and nails; other factors like poor diet or overall lack of nutrients may cause for a decrease in your body’s production of collagen.
Ive started used Hair, Skin and Nails Essentials to combat this! Containing a wide variety of vitamins and minerals, these products can increase collagen, encourage cell regeneration and improve the overall health of your hair, skin and nails. Granted I’m not claiming to have the best hair, I have definitely noticed a difference with this! #s2faction#neversettle#menshealth#gq

... just ❤️ it...
Die Hand, die uns durch dieses Dunkel führt,
läßt uns dem Elend nicht zum Raube;
und wenn die Hoffnung auch den Ankergrund verliert,
so laßt uns fest an diesem Glauben halten.
Ein einz'ger Augenblick kann alles umgestalten!

But summer past, and we grew up
And all of our paths, they split up
And I haven't seen your face or heard your voice in so long
So, so long
We had a good run, it's over now
No, I'm not sad about it, I'm just, it's weird
I have always really loved makeup. I worked for my first cosmetic line in 2001. What was in the products I was slathering all over my face furthest from my mind. As long as it looked good I didn’t care. In 2017 Young Living launched Savvy Minerals. I quickly fell in love and have slowly weeded out all the makeup I’ve used for years.
Why is it so amazing? Not only is it beautiful and long wearing its clean makeup. Why would that be important? Our skin is the largest organ. It absorbs what we decide to put on it. Cosmetics are filled with harmful chemicals that can effect and disrupt so many of our body systems.
Here is what @savvymineralsbyyl DOESN’T have:
•Synthetic fragrances •Animal testing
If you don’t have the @thinkdirty app, get it. Plug all of the things your using for cosmetics and toiletries and you’ll be shocked at how toxic your products are. #youdeservebetter#nontoxicbeauty#savvyminerals#naturalmakeup
I have always struggled with body image since my hips came in seemingly overnight in 5th grade. I noticed other girls could walk down the row of desks without bumping into them and associated that with being bigger(in addition to my height) or a general otherness. It has taken a long time to unlearn how I think I "should" look vs how I want to or do look. I felt stressed out by diet culture and consider(ed) a lot of it to be misogynistic bullshit and checked out on nutrition because I felt like I could never win. I stopped wearing makeup for awhile post college because I felt conflicted on my reasons for wearing it and generally being too tired to.
I am, at 31, starting to feel more accepting of my body and features. I've started wearing makeup again, I feel like now it is a form of self expression rather than the bare minimum requirement for appearing in public according to social norms. I've been eating keto for most of the past 10 months and it has helped me find balance in what I eat which has made me feel like I am more in control of my health.
Here is a picture from this morning, unshowered, no makeup, but I was feeling good about my body because my fever from the day before broke.
I'm proud of my body today because it was able to fight back an infection so I will try to take care of it to return to favor. ❤
