More night time Dashi Tamagoyaki experimenting! This time made with a higher dashi content. Harder to flip but resulted in a juicier and bouncier tamago. Made 1 perfect block and 1 ugly block with the remaining egg mix. And u can see the dashi leaking out from the squishing from the slice off the ugly block. I saw that it was $4 for a small brick of tamago at cold storage! Think I can now save a fair bit my making it myself. Next thing to learn is how to make good Shari (sushi vinegared rice) to go along with the tamagoyaki. #foodismylanguageoflove
For the last few days, I've been replacing the rice with potato or corn. We decided to lessen the use of sugar for daily meal. And to this reason I've been cooking this quite often because I think these foods really go well together.
