My legs 😫😫 they were not only still sore from leg day just 5 short days ago, but then also from Total Body just 3 days ago... I contemplated skipping, interchanging my workouts, or doubling another day, because my legs literally feel like jello already 😭 but decided to ultimately push through even if it meant lighter weight 😌Hoping I'm not TERRIBLY sore for a big show weekend coming up 😅 But no pain, no gain right?! 😜
Posting this kind of stuff makes me queasy 🤢but a lot of what I do pushes comfort zones, so that's nothing new, right?!
I'll be brutally honest with y'all.... when I first looked at my comparison I hated it. 😞 I hated my transformation. I hated my body. I hated the way I looked. I hated me.... but then I went back and I noticed something; I knew telling myself that "being extremely thin means you're healthy" is not my motto, nor will it EVER be. I was ashamed of those "thunder thighs" I saw in the photo on the right, and thought my 🍑 got way too big.... but let's take a second and notice.....
•My confidence in the picture on the right is undeniable, my posture is better, my smile is brighter.
•Weight loss has never been a goal of mine, so why would I expect to lose weight rather than gain the hard earned muscle I've been working for.
•Fitness comes in all shapes and sizes, and my "size" or "thickness" in the picture on the right depicts where I'm headed, what I've earned, what I've worked incredibly hard for.
Be proud of who you are and where you're going. I cant wait to see YOUR transformation pics, do you want the results?
It's so hard to believe that the person I was before, just 5 years ago was weak, had absolutely no self-esteem, feared speaking of what she believed in, constantly apologized for everything she did- although it wasn't necessary majority of the time, and the one who always bottled all her feelings inside. •
Im so grateful to had been introduced to this coaching community. •
Without them I would had never learned how to START overcoming all of those things that kept me a trapped prisoner within my own body and mind. •
Breaking The Cycles of Destruction within myself one day at a time. 💪 Because I have to be the ray of light, hope, and help for those who have not yet found their personal freedom. •
"Tough times don't last. Tough people do." -Sagi Kalev
So true in any instance! Even this workout that was pretty grueling... (umm did you see my face in my story?! 😦) this workout was TOUGH, but just like the quote, it only lasts for so long 😌 and in turn makes you a better person 💪🏻 Granted, with any workout that lists "arms" or "shoulders" in it I know I'm in for a tough one--because just like everyone else on the planet, I too have my weaknesses 😣
Every single one of us endures a tough time, but it's how we handle them that's allows us to grow or stop dead in our tracks ✌🏼 use the tough times as motivation to move forward and as a DRIVING force to make progress!
"A decision is what gets you started; consistency is what gets you to the finish." -Sagi Kalev .
I LOVE the quote he said during this workout.. not going to lie... it was tough, I didn't feeeeel like doing it after a long weekend, but my consistency keeps me within reach of my goals. Consistency leads to habits, good vibes, and not giving up 💪🏻
Staring next week, a group of determined gals and I are making a DECISION to get as well prepared for a brand new 80 day fitness & nutrition plan for January. We will be CONSISTENT with our workouts and eating habits to reach the finish line of not only the programs leading up to January, but the 80 day program too. A DECISION, COMMITMENT, CONSISTENCY, with a WILL, a WHY & a WANT to improve is the only requirement to join. Want in on this special group? Comment "Will" to snag a spot before they're filled 🏋🏻♀️
✋🏻I refuse to have someone tell me I can't go on vacation.
🙅🏻I will not have someone tell me I'm required to work X hours.
✋🏻I don't want anyone to tell me I can not have an hour lunch break.
🙅🏻I won't allow anyone to tell me I have to miss a horse show.
✋🏻And I absolute refuse to miss out on my friends most important moments!
To drive down to Georgia to surprise Olivia was 100% worth it! We haven't seen each other in 6 months, so making it down for her birthday on a FRIDAY with no one telling "you can't miss work" is SO freaking amazing! .
Then to drive back to Knoxville to go wedding dress shopping with Aly was again so, so worth it! I get to see one of my longest and best friends get married in an absolutely gorgeous dress that I got to help her hand select!
It's moments like these I can't trade and I don't ever want to miss, and to put a 🍒 on top I love to have the extra $$ to splurge towards being there. I love what I do, but it absolutely makes it 1000x better than I'm my own boss. Ready to live your life by your own rules? Let's chat 🤘🏻
Had such a fun filled weekend with friends ❤️
EARLY workout on Friday, followed by riding the 3 🐴s, then driving to Georgia to surprise @okasper for her bday 🎉 Ate super yummy sushi, then wrapped the night by watched IT even though half of it was through my fingers ✋🏻 👀😂
Woke up this morning to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrel, then drove back to TN where I went wedding dress shopping with @apex_aly and found THE dress 😍 can't wait for your big day babe 💍
Back to the barn and back on track with workouts--heck of a long day tomorrow between packing for a horse show, riding, and working out!
👸🏻Once upon a time, Haley decided to do the hardest weight training program to ever exist. .
She knew it was hard; so hard she almost puked at 430 during her Leg workout this morning! She *just about* screamed from the burn, but didn't want to wake the rest of the house. She pushed through even though she felt like running away (HAHA good luck running after that workout girlfriend! 😂), but she pushed through regardless. She probably won't be able to walk tomorrow--no, she WONT be able to walk tomorrow, so anyone who sees her may need to give her a helping hand.
The end. 🔮
Starting something today that I would have never imagined myself doing 2 years ago... ☠️Can I say it's in my comfort zone? Not at all. But I will say that 2 years ago I would've dreaded it or just totally bypassed it altogether. 👋🏼
Success is earned by going out of comfort zones, by pushing yourself, by trying new things. What I'm doing takes 10 days of grit, determination, and going the extra mile. 💪🏻
This is not for beginners, but it's not too late to join me. Are you ready to take it to the next level with me?! 😈
My arms 😮🔥 they werent joking that this would be hard... but I knew coming in I had to step up my game to do this. Results run through my blood, it's what I want more than ANYTHING. So I stepped up, and I'm showing up. 😈 .
Doing "sets" I've never heard of before. "Force Set" is a new one... you get the memo 😶 hence why my arms fee like jello right about now.
When push ups are in the freaking WARM UP 😵😩 you know it's hard! Well, maybe not for you... but push-ups for me are my worst nightmare 😞 It's ok though... progress & results... just keep thinking 💭
❤️To the woman who struggles to look at herself in the mirror everyday, you are not alone.
💛To the woman who hates to go shopping for new clothes because of the size you have to buy, you are not alone. 💚To the woman who refuses to go out in public before trying on 6 outfits to find the one you feel the least uncomfortable in, you are not alone. 💙To the woman who hates every cellulite dimple, you are not alone.
💜To the woman who hates when her thighs rub together and chafe the skin, you are not alone.
🖤To the woman who lives in pain everyday from the extra weight, you are not alone. 💓To the woman suffering inside because she hates her outside, you are not alone. 💖To the woman who doesn't feel worthy of a relationship because she doesn't see herself as sexy, you are not alone.
You are not alone because all of these women, all of these moments, I have felt in my life. Some of these may be you. All of them may be you. None of them may be you. I'm here to tell you, I'm here for you.. I'm here to talk, to listen. I'm here to help you get the change you deserve to give yourself. To forgive yourself for thinking and feeling these things about yourself, and to learn how to love yourself.
Feeling these things does not define you. Having these things does not define you. Your inside defines you. What you decide for yourself defines you. If you want to make your outside match your inside, to build self esteem and confidence, there's no secret sauce. It's hard work, and if you're ready to put in the hard work it takes, I'm here to help. Comment below or message me. ❤️
Workout tip: Set your phone and alarm ACROSS the room. When your alarm goes off, you are forced to get up and get moving, rather than hit stop or snooze, roll over and go back to bed.Getting up and moving makes it easier to just keep going while also allowing your blood to pumping and endorphins beginning to release. I'll guarantee if you set your alarm across the room it will seriously help you--especially if you're a "snoozer"!
Have you ever been SO excited to do something?! Like so excited you throw a mini dance party while drinking your ⚡️liquid energize (not lying 😜 it's on my story), and actually looking forward to pushing play for weight lifting?!
WHAAAAT. Me?! A few years ago weight lifting was laaaaame, for the birds--I mean boys😂. Times have changed for sure. I was definitely no "lifter", and NEVER looked forward to it because... well... I thought you just stood there and lifted some silly dumbbells.... I obviously never knew what the heck this "lifting" thing was all about! 😅 LOVE these moves that work just about every area 💕💪🏻
Ermahgerdddd mah LEGS 😫🔥
My legs were already sore, and this just took it to a whoollleeee new level last night 😵 so many squats, so many jumps, so many jump squats... #dying 😅
Let's hope strength day is more upper body than legs, because my legs are 🍞toast! 😂
Check out my burnout round (that I ended up doing TWICE ☹️ because my dang internet cut out) try it for yourself!
