• Excerpt from 'Chhandogya Upanishad' - “Fetch me from a fruit of the nyagrodh tree,” asked the father, the great sage Uddalak, to his son. “Here is one, sir,” said Svetaketu. “Break it.” “It is broken, sir.” “What do you see there?” “These seeds, almost infinitesimal.” “Break one of them.” “It is broken, sir.” “What do you see?” “Nothing, sir. Absolutely nothing.” The father said, “My son, that subtle essence which you do not perceive there, of that very essence this great nyagrodh tree exists. Believe it, my son, that there is the subtle essence in that all things have existence. That is the truth. That is the self. And that, Svetaketu, that art thou — tatvamasi, Svetaketu.” • 🐒🤙🏼😁

The universe will show us so many opportunities that are possible for our journey. It’s up to you which ones you want to experience. However, you do not need to go through every door that opens to you. Going with the flow also mean you know what you want and enjoying the ride on the way. Don’t let life push you around from one experience to the other. Know what you want to experience and set you intentions on the experience and enjoy your way there.

Sometimes, the wisest of souls come in quietest of packages. They merely observe, listen, agree with everything you say even if they don’t follow you. They would be way too malleable for their own good, always adjusting easily, always letting go. Often, they appear plain, insignificant, like that dent on the black board, the shadow under the candle.
If by some stroke of great fortune, you sense the wisdom inside them, please ensure to gently and kindly dust away the layers of mask that appears. And when you succeed, you will find the most valuable treasure ever.
You will know, they are neither plain nor insignificant. You will know they carry within them- the power to make colours vibrant, the power to create and annihilate and above all, the power to communicate despite being still and silent. You will realize with a jolt that there is this exact same power right within you too.
Sure enough, your wonder and curiosity will make you harness the power within you. Someday, when you are least expecting it, an experience will dawn, and you will know, you have been that wisest soul all along. You will know, you simply are the eternal, pure, boundless, free, all pervading energy.
