MBA student Leif Thobroe is in the running for a place on the 1st ever GB Taekwondo Para Team.
After suffering a spinal injury during a rugby match which left him without the use of his right arm Leif turned to Taekwondo to help with his rehabilitation.
2 years later and Leif has been selected by GB Teakwondo to train with them. "I've been selected to start training with them with the intention of getting into the GB Paralypic team. I have been up to Manchester 3 times now and I have started a bootcamp stage where I am attending training sessions every month with the intention of getting selected to compete in London in October in the World Para championships"
But not content with returning to education to study his MBA Leif has also established a Kickboxing society for his fellow students, is a class representative and student ambassador and has also secured a position working for Inndycube in Swansea.

As I make my final preparations for this weekend and my big race of the season at the European duathlon championships where I represent my age group got Great Britain once again my thoughts have been turned to what if.
I spent a lot of years wasting my life away and can't help but think what if I'd discovered an active lifestyle years earlier then what could have been?
I may not be at elite or Olympic level but at almost 42 years old with a lot of other distractions in life racing internationally against the best people in the country and world for my age is something I take immense pride in and have made huge efforts and sacrifices to achieve. Only those close enough to know see the full sacrifices that an athlete at any level with passion makes.
Ultimately all I want is to be the best I can be at what I do and make those that count proud of me and what I have achieved. When I started cycling a few years ago I never imagined that some day I might be flying to Spain to represent Team GB but here we are again.
Thanks to those that have offered words of support, technical support, financial support and any other form of support, you all have played a vital part in making this a reality and I really can't thank you enough. A special thanks goes to @mcnamars for her unrelenting patience, understanding and enthusiasm.
Sending the message to my daughter that "impossible is nothing" is the greatest gift of all. THANK YOU. XX
Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. Pele #teamgb#gb#greatbritain

"It's so easy to follow the crowd rather than make your own decisions and think independently. The greatest advice I can give anyone is to be open, be honest, and above all be an individual thinker. My number one value is respect." Anthony Joshua for Being ManKind.

This week seems to be all about the Gnu Zoid's. This time its Team GB sbx, park and pipe and also a vcoat rider @alex_snowboarder02 . As you can see from the first picture the state of the board. The board had never been treated by vcoat. We took the board to @skinboardroom for them to service the board (minus waxing) then applied vcoat.
What is vcoat? Vcoat is a hydrophobic coating which works at a nano level offering increased performance by reducing resistance and increased durability lasting up 6 months from a single application.
For more information and to purchase vcoat visit our website www.vcoat.co.uk

Kids will do anything to game and sometimes you have to admire their dedication to the cause – but sometimes gaming goes bad like it did in Overwatch this week. Check out our gaming blog post at the link in our profile 👍🇬🇧

Bally's #tennis career went from strength to strength, she was UK #1 as well as representing the UK on #teamGB in the #2012Olympics . She won many #awards in this time and was popular on and off the tennis court, for her kind nature and rapport with everyone, especially #children .
