I am using my inversion boots today to reduce the pressure on my spinal column, relax my back muscles, and rehydrate the discs in my spine. Just got done with some yoke carries ,fat bar deadlifts and heavy squats😬 Hanging upside down opens up my back and allows everything to relax and significantly reduces stress in my back muscles.
There's nothing quite like the feeling of the back muscles locking up and spasming. It's truly a remarkable amount of debilitating discomfort. Hurts so bad I'm even nauseous from it. And according to WebMD I might have a life-threatening condition. Of course! Thank god (science) for muscle relaxants and the friends that have them. Just hanging before clients. Ive been hanging before and/or after all training sessions and it has helped flexibility and decreased pain in my back and hips immensely. Right now recovery and self care are priority in most workouts because im listening to my body. After years of abuse and pushing through days of exhaustion, soreness, tightness, and training around injuries im allowing time to take care of myself. Don't let your physique or workouts define you because there will be times when both are good and bad.
