Since I was a little girl, I thought true success would look like this:
Wake up. Work all day. Workout. Spend time with family. Sleep. Repeat.
Little did I know that true success to me really meant being fulfilled and happy.
There is no monetary amount that can be attached to my happiness.
There is no master’s degree or Ph.D that can bring fulfullment.
(Been there, done that.)
True joy (to me) comes from spending time in serene places & experiencing the beautiful earth we live on while laughing with people who mean the most.
Luckily, Kyle (my husband) shares this same thirst for life.
We woke up on Saturday morning and hubs said, “Let’s go on an adventure. Let’s spend our 7-year anniversary somewhere other than at home.”
So, we packed our bags and we were sitting on the runway of our local airport in our airplane by 2:30pm en route to Telluride, CO.
All I can say is wow!
Flying over the Rocky Mountains in our plane was freeing.
Landing in Telluride with a cliff on 3 sides of the airport was exhilarating.
Oh, did I mention that Telluride is the 2nd highest airport in the U.S.? Here’s a shot from our trip.
Friends, ask yourself this today: Are you truly living??!!
