Today's workout! Still feeling a bit sore after two day rest from the last one, I upped the seconds to thirty in each plank from twenty, added extra push ups, added mountain climbers and flutter kicks, removed a rep from the core ones as it still hurts a lot but I still did a rep each (thirty in total, down from sixty) feeling good
July 10 sure throws up some crazy memories...aka photographic evidence of how big I once was...and that I truly am a work-in-progress.
Today also marks the moment I have officially lost 10kgs since starting nutritional cleansing in January this year....TEN KILOS!! As confronting as it was to face these (and thankyou my pep talk homegirls who gave me that little push), they tell a story...my belly will never be washboard abs- they proudly bear the stripes and stretchies and wrinkles from being home to my two boys.
And that's okay. This summer I will be proudly rocking a bikini - stripes and all- cause I am proud of this journey. I am stronger, fitter, healthier, mindset the most positive and strongest it has ever been.
This is not a transformation.
This my friends and family, is transforming.
