Turmeric Ginger Milk for inflammation great drink for your detox plan and a great nite nite drink as well. @michele_torres 😘
2 8 oz. pure canned coconut milk
1 cup almond milk
2 teaspoons-ground turmeric
2 teaspoons - ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pinch of pink himalayan salt
Pinch of ground black pepper
Add coconut milk and almond milk into a deep sauce pan over medium heat. Heat milk until it just begins to simmer. Add all the spices into the milk and whisk immediately until all spices are incorporated into the milk. Remove from heat and drain through a mesh strainer. Allow to cool and pour into a glass container and store in the fridge and warm up a cup in the morning, instead of that morning cup of coffee, try this anti inflammatory yummy to your yummy drink #yummyyummyinmytummy#detox#turmeric#diy#yummy#homemade#healing#healthy#eathealthy
Accurately glazed a salmon and only overcooked it a tiny bit.. practice makes perfect, but another lesson down
Honey Siracha glaze for 4 salmon filets
- lots of garlic
- 2tsp ginger (1 if it is fresh grated)
- 3-4 tbs soy - 2 tbs rice wine vinegar - 3 tbs honey
Put it all in a saucepan, bring to boil and simmer until it’s thick and glaze-y
Lesson learned of the night: I sprinkled the tiniest bit of brown sugar & corn starch on the salmon, cooked it in a pan for one minute so it got nice and brown and THEN put it in the oven. Tip from @testkitchen and I’m always learning! Make it and lemme know how this makes even you fish-haters like fish
Morning treats: pomegranate seeds sitting on our kitchen table calling my name. Yesterday seven folks came together to share a dinner in our home. I felt enveloped in a warm hug. These lovely humans brought magical food and drink to share, helped for hours with cooking, cleaning and moving things around our teeny apartment (including my heavy bed).. all so we could share a space and moment with one another. Joy and contentment fill my heart as I sit down this Monday morning to eat these tangy seeds with a bit of angelica powder. So. Much. Gratitude. 🙏🏼✨
