With this turquoise water and emerald forest in the mix, I think whoever decided to paint the bridge between Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan bright yellow is a marketing genius - it's so instagrammable, isn't it?! 😅 On another note, this is one more peek into the adventurous side of me, the one that loves riding scooters 🏍 everywhere - even if sadly, I am a much less confident and daring driver than I was before breaking my arm in a bike accident last year... 😰
What about you, are you enthusiastic bikers?
Some of you may have been wondering what shenanigans I’ve been up to this past month in Bali 🤔.
Meet Michael and Lars, founders of @Coworkparadise, a Business Mastermind retreat and movement meant to unite successful entrepreneurs and give them the business and personal tools to change the world.
I was invited by these guys to see it for myself, and what I learned has for sure changed the course my life. I had so many mental blockages around money, success, and my ability to be an “entrepreneur” that I was able to completely release thanks to these guys. My business started taking off almost instantly after the retreat and not only that, I walked away with some lifelong friends 🙏🏼.
At first I was pretty skeptical of how this would go - I was in a villa with 10 high-powered entrepreneurs (mostly Dutch men 😆), and I don’t really like being in large organized groups as I tend to be the black sheep 🐑.
⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
Within a first few days, however, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be. This whole time, I thought there was something wrong with me for not fitting well into groups, but I realized it was because I hadn’t found my people: intelligent, curious, open-minded, compassionate, ambitious AF to change the world and unashamed to admit that they will move mountains to do so.
As some important dude that worked at Apple said, those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
Thank you @coworkparadise for the delightful memories, new friendships, and my newfound obsession with Dutchies 🤓.
Who else here lives a life teetering between two extremes?
Is it the Aries in me? My extroverted introversion? My quarter-life crisis talking?
I'm convinced there's a good chunk of us who go through life trying so hard to listen to the "right" voice when there's 10 others that try to take center stage.
In a world that's very black and white to everyone else, how do you walk the fine line of gray?
We are such passionate souls that we know no middle ground in anything.
We either love something with all our hearts, or reject it with every fiber of our souls.
We either want to be jiggin' in the middle of the dance floor, or completely isolated in the middle of nowhere.
We either want to make close connections to break down our walls, or keep everyone at a 10-foot distance.
I've been opening up about these revelations to a handful of friends and it's so empowering to know I'm not alone.
As we blink our eyes and end up in December, it's crazy to think about all the goals we set for ourselves just 11 months back, and how much we've hit or missed the mark since then.
2018 will come with its fair share of life lessons, serendipitous encounters, and dream-chasing, and I hope like hell, I'm ready for it all.
Speaking of the new year, if I invited like 4 of you to celebrate New Year's Eve with me somewhere in Central or South America, where should we go? 🤔 #SeriousQuestion#AndHowDoIChoose#NewYearsNewFriends
Everything changes when you start to emit your own frequency rather than absorbing the frequencies around you. When you start imprinting your intent on the universe rather than receiving an imprint from existence 🌿
