Astro-Alert☸️☸️☸️ the times are a changing as the nodes are a shifting.
Galaxy d🍩nuts, mermaid toast 🍞,and the #unicorn 🦄 frap are ALL being served at the goodbye party for the fantasy (and general escapism) loving sign of Pisces ♓️ as the South Node preps to exit its space.
Yes, we are on the waning days of the south node in Pisces/north node in Virgo♍️ transit and we are hanging onto the Pisces south node for dear, outer-worldly life.
Why the South node fever? Because it's awesome there... and completely unproductive.
The South node is when your bed beats out your 5 strategically set alarms and renders you just awake enough to feel bad that it's 1147am... but then you find a stray cookie on your beside table and all is good, back to bed. So. yeah it's comfortable, stagnant, and unproductive.
With the south almostttttt out of Pisces we're going to be prone to one last binge of retreat, fantasy, drugs and escapism as we try to fend off the Virgo(reality central) north Node which can feel like preparing a power point presentation (or whatever left brain friendly interface is most relevant now). Going north node means it's yeah, ultimately fulfilling but uncomfortable and unnatural as... PowerPoint.
But right up until the end(May 9th) we're nudged by cosmic forces to keep to a schedule, prioritize our health, make sense of seemingly unnecessary details, and in general upkeep our reality. Since late 2015 North node in Virgo has been requesting of you to prioritize the day to day, how's that been going?
I ask this because on May 9th we have a huge shift - The nodes switch into the Leo/Aquarius axis and that's when we'll get a whole new collective flavor-
the Queen/King vs. the masses

For the second time in 24 hours, I have had the privilege to hear Orlando Police Chief John Mina speak. First at #thecollective and now in the department's new HQ with the #MayorsCityAcademy , I have been impressed by his leadership, dedication, integrity, and commitment to @thecitybeautiful.
So the lovely @sarinalangerwriter tagged me for #5questionsforthewriter , and I thought I would give it a go. I don't normally write long Instagram posts but hey, why not?! 1. Your Genre? I like to read any genre but my favourite to write are fantasy of all aspects, and romance.
2. Where do you find your inspiration? Sometimes the ideas just pop into my head and grow from there, some come from prompts on Pinterest and others I adopt from the NaNo forums and try to twist.
3. Quirky Diva Habits? I wouldn't be the best person to ask. Im sure my boyfriend, best friend or mother could answer better! 🙈
4. Favourite time to write? This always depends on my motivation levels AND my work life balance. Usually I prefer to write in the mornings, being an early bird means I'm more motivated in the mornings to work and crash at night, but sometimes I can write in the middle of the day or after work.
5. Share the last three sentences you wrote; Oh well which WIP do you want?! WIP1: Boots came up to her knee and as she neared the Queen's quarters she disappeared into the wall.
Had this been the first time Elijah had witnessed this he may have been shocked. However, because of Jasmines help he knew this palace was littered with secret passageways.
WIP2: "Oh stop looking at me like that, he isn't dead," said Harvey as he stood up and turned around to look at Jenny. It was only then that she realised her eyes were wide.
I'll stop now! I tag @rachaeltulipano @_laurateagan @ashleyrcarlson1 @authorkristenmartin and @racheldelxo #writersofinstagram#writersofbookstagram#instawriter#writing#writersnetwork#writingcommunity#firstnovel#thecollective
Orlando Police Chief John Mina spoke at The Collective last night. He gave a powerful speech about leadership. And then he got a standing ovation for all he and his officers have done for the @thecitybeautiful. Thank you @Chief Mina! #thecollective#orlando#orlandopolice#orlandounited
