The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." - Leonardo Da Vinci
While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon received an urgent phone call in the dead of night. Louvre has been murdered but not before encrypting a baffling cipher through the museum in which he was murdered. Robert Langdon soon becomes a suspect in Louvre's death. With the help of French cryptologist Sophie Neveu, Robert must escape arrest, decode the cipher, and discover the real killer who is linked to three other murders. This fast paced book is full of action, history, suspense, symbology, and conspiracy theories. It is so intelligently written that it will be sure to challenge your wit. I really enjoyed this book and flew through it in no time. Although I didn't really like the way it ended, it is definitely worth the read.
The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown
Synopsis - An ingenious code hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. A desperate race through the cathedrals and castles of Europe. An astonishing truth concealed for centuries . . . unveiled at last.
While in Paris, Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is awakened by a phone call in the dead of the night. The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum, his body covered in baffling symbols. As Langdon and gifted French cryptologist Sophie Neveu sort through the bizarre riddles, they are stunned to discover a trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci—clues visible for all to see and yet ingeniously disguised by the painter.
Even more startling, the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion—a secret society whose members included Sir Isaac Newton, Victor Hugo, and Da Vinci—and he guarded a breathtaking historical secret. Unless Langdon and Neveu can decipher the labyrinthine puzzle—while avoiding the faceless adversary who shadows their every move—the explosive, ancient truth will be lost forever.
Thoughts - The first time I read this book I did not have the special anniversary addition and therefore did not have the corresponding photos to go along with this story, which was fine, it was still very good. However, when I did get my hands on the SAA and had the photos to go along with it I was in LOVE I found it to enhance the story so much more to have the visuals. Such an interesting concept for a story. The clear action and adventure that was presented kept the pages turning.
Omg! This is a stunning follow- up to tha global phenomenom The Davinci Code, Dan Brown demonstrates once again why he is the world's most popular thriller writer. Love this so much💕 #thelostsymbol#danbrown#thedavincicode

ANGELS AND DEMONS.
When Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon discovers the resurgence of an ancient brotherhood known as the Illuminati, he flies to Rome to warn the Vatican, the Illuminati's most hated enemy. Joining forces with beautiful Italian scientist Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer), Langdon follows a centuries-old trail of ancient symbols in the hope of preventing the Illuminati's deadly plot against the Roman Catholic Church from coming to fruition.
Harvard professor Robert Langdon wakes up in a hospital with a head wound and no memory of the last few days. He last remembers walking on the Harvard campus, but he quickly realizes that he is now in Florence, Italy. 📚happy birthday to Dan Brown
This #shipsfigurehead I carved for #DavinciCode author #DanBrown and finally sent to the #Caribbean . His wife, who is an artist, wanted it left in a 'raw state' so she could apply wood stain. It would be mounted on the wall in their new house. (heavy piece).
