Who's ready for the best holiday ever?!?!??!? Just received the first few pieces of my costume 😁😱🤤 and even though everyone and their Mum will likely be the daughter of Zeus I'm still uber psyched lol (I will be wearing this costume well after Oct 31 btw, for the Heros Charity Run, the release of @justiceleague, comicon, as pajamas and when the world needs me, not saying I'm Wonder Woman I'm just saying you've never seen us in the same room at the same time... eh eh? 😂) #halloween#halloweencostume#wonderwoman#psyched#soessited#themyscira#godkiller#wbstudiotour#cosplay
#TBT to when a vision on my vision board became reality. The most beautiful place I've visited so far on my years of traveling. At first this trip wasn't going to happen and then I asked the universe to provide me with opportunities to use my gifts. I worked my butt off and was able to save up to make this trip happen. Nothing is ever out of reach my friends. Decide & commit to accomplishing your goals. This trip was special for many reasons so to have it forever a part of me I got the latitude/longitude coordinates for the Terrace of Infinity tattooed on me. I love you Italia ❤️🇮🇹 #terraceofinfinity#villacimbrone#ravello#themyscira#wonderwoman#italia#amalficoast#cositeraamalfitana#travelnoire
Ok...if you're a raging fanboy who's easily triggered by opinions other than your own, prepare yourself...I'm about to say something that's gonna raise the ire of many and send the townspeople charging towards my home with torches and pitchforks in hand. Still with me? Ok, here we go...
Wonder Woman is not a great film and is somewhat overrated. Ok, calm yourselves and put down your hatchets for a second while I explain myself. Wonder Woman is a FANTASTIC film and I absolutely love it...Patty Jenkins has crafted a solid film in which everyone's beloved Amazonian warrior, Diana Prince, can finally get the attention she deserves in a film bearing her name and her name alone. Jenkins' direction is superb, the casting is nothing short of brilliant, especially Gal Gadot, and the scenes featuring just her and Chris Pine are some of the most memorable scenes I've seen all year. The few action sequences we get are truly exhilarating, thanks to some stellar camera work and fight choreography. This film also has tons of heart and is deeply poignant at times...it is a beautiful love letter to one of the greatest Super Heroes ever created. Having said that, the film does falter in two major areas that keep it from achieving greatness...an incredibly boring villain, resulting in an unsatisfying finale, and an overall plot that feels far too similar to Marvel's Captain America: The First Avenger. I work hard not to get caught up in a film's hype, but I must confess that I did after my initial viewing of this film...telling my buddy @anwamane that I thought it was gonna be one of my top three favorite super hero films of all time. After two more viewings, I had to be honest and face the fact that I didn't love it as much as I thought I did. Now, don't get me wrong, I ADORE this film and can't wait to watch it again...but due to the aforementioned issues I have with it, I just can't call it "one of the greats". If I'm being honest, I enjoyed Logan and Guardians 2 a little bit more. Let the lynching commence. 😉#wonderwoman#galgadot#chrispine#dc#dccomics#amazon#themyscira#dianaprince#stevetrevor#cinephile#bluray#bluraycollector#steelbook#steelbookcollector
