Girlfriend joined me today because this head cold and cough had me up in the middle of the night and I didn't get up at my normal time this morning. It was slower paced with lots of interruptions 😂 but my workouts are #THERAPY so I make them happen. Upper Strength ✔️ #momlife#toddlerlife#happymom

Wanna grow your brain? ✨ When we experience trauma (to any degree...trauma is relative!) gaps in connectivity and communication between the parts of the brain emerge. Literally, space and fragmentation appears in the brain. When we talk through and process this emotional trauma, that connectivity and communication rebuilds -- thus the brain re-grows. We've all got our shit. Processing it, fully and honestly, has straight up neurological benefits. #brain#brainstuff#therapy#process#trauma#neurologyiscool
"I had always considered Sexuality and Spirituality to be two ends of a spectrum. I did not ever imagine that the two could come together.
This workshop has helped me unravel the deeper meaning of what we consider merely "a biological drive." It brought into perspective sexual and Kundalini energy and it's connection with creativity. The processes were simple and awakened deep insights. I realised that contrary to what I thought, this was as meaningful for individuals as it was for couples. Looking forward eagerly to the longer 2 day workshop to unleash the latent potential for better relationships and a fuller life." .... This is a the statement of one of the participants of Sexpression - our recent workshop with Aditya Dutta whose innocent and grounded energy makes him an exceptional facilitator. Brilliant presentations interspersed with processes to unearth their inner core and connect with their creative energy created a mystical atmosphere. Queries gave way to experience and answers flowed from the participants themselves. Understanfing sex & sexuality, relationships, transmutation of the life giving energy for higher purposes, meditations for physical, emotional and spiritual fulfillment formed the content of the workshop.
Aditya and the team at Wellnessence is thankful to all participants for transcending taboo-ic beliefs and giving themselves and us the opportunity to grow together towards Conscious Living.
Love and Light.
💥EXERCISE & BRAIN HEALTH💥
Great post from @optimize.physiotherapy on research related to exercise and brain function.
Exercise instantly changes your brain chemistry in a positive way ✅
▪️There are many other ways as well such as breathing techniques, cold exposure etc.
🔑 Exercise/physical exertion is proving to be one of the best medicines for combating stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. I have been reading a book called 'Spark' by Dr.John J. Ratey, which summarizes and explains just how good exercise is for overall physical and mental health, learning, mood, stress control etc
✏️ One thing exercise does well is rapidly change your brain chemistry. It increases both serotonin and norepinephrine right away, and also over the long term
🔑 Serotonin works directly on anxiety circuitry in the brain, inhibiting fear at the prefrontal cortex and calming down the amygdala (a key region involved in the body's stress response)
✏️ Physical exercise also acts on other neuro chemicals such as GABA and BDNF, which are key for creating alternative responses to fear and in combatting anxiety and stress
✅ Physical exercise literally changes the chemistry in your brain, and is shown in multiple studies to be just as effective as medication...without any side effects and with longer lasting results
✅ If you want to quickly change your state, mood, anxiety or stress...exert yourself vigorously and let your brain do the rest.

Thursday - therapy day as usual. It's really hard to tell whether I'm getting anywhere with it and whether I'm making progress. I don't really get any sort of feedback so I can't tell. I do find it helpful when I'm in there, just to vent and the whole validation of how I'm feeling etc. I just need some goals to work towards because at the moment I can't figure out what I'm trying to achieve. Hope everyone is doing well 💖
#DIAPHRAGMATIC breathing AKA Deep Belly Breathing is an excellent way to INSTANTLY reduce #stress . Did you know you can get anxious if you aren't getting enough #oxygen or if you aren't breathing properly? Take some time and take deep breaths... your belly should move when you breathe for maximum benefit 😊 #HealingHappensHere
"My Teacher has told you how a word from her hand touched the darkness of my mind and I awoke to the gladness of life. I was dumb; now I speak. I owe this to the hands and hearts of others. Through their love I found my soul and God and happiness. Don’t you see what it means? We live by each other and for each other. Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much. Only love can break down the walls that stand between us and our happiness." Helen Keller
