Looking at my old notebooks by instruction of the book my dad got me. Says to look back and reminisce about the good and the bad. These are all good memories.
1. A beautiful day with my sister. we went shoe shopping for her baby and it was awesome.
2. Seeing blade runner with my dad. I've literally been praying for that movie my whole life. One of my favourite six hours all year. Better than all the festivals put together.
3. The man him self at the canteen in bristol. Handsome fucker
4. Memories from womad festival, netting beautiful Tim and manni. Notice all the dancing hehe
5. Sarcosuchus. Because dinosaurs are so very much my everyday love.
6. An exploration in drawing therapy. I had to hide from someone awful one day so I sat with a friggin goose (yes a downed goose who couldn't fly sat with me on my coat) and I drew this picture. I was scared he would attack me but oddly we both needed to hide from people. So he just sat there and goosed away.
The test of a healthy relationship is not measured when things are going well or when you’re in the honeymoon stage of the relationship. Yesterday was such a roller coaster that I couldn't get off of. I'm glad it's over and that I have a day off today. Some time on my own is just what I need honestly. 🖤
i tend to underestimate the power of a prayer but in my suffering i am reminded how much i need it. prayer is just like oxygen.
i've been sick for a few days and i didn't have any energy to pray or spend time with Him but today i decided to pray and give it all to Him. without him, i wouldn't have had the physical strength to go outside and buy some stuff for my throat and for my mom.
now i'm feeling so much better and it's all glory to Him. he is the Healer.
p.s. if you don't believe in God that's okay this post is for those who do. i'll post stuff like this every once in awhile :) ❤
Hyperflexion injuries are a common cause of muscle strain in relation to vehicle, skiing, and similar accidents. Studies show that, although there may be no serious structural damage (e.g. bone fracture) present, the muscles of the neck atrophy in whiplash patients. Furthermore, the studies show that the degree of atrophy correlate with degree of disability.
Thankfully, these muscles may be rehabbed, but beware that it is extremely hard work and requires tremendous motivation and cooperation from the patient. It may take up to six months for the muscles to respond well, depending on the severity of the injury. In extreme circumstances, more.
This exercise will target the longissimus / splenius capitis & cervicis, as well as the semispinalis and cervical multifidii. As always, seek out professional guidance if you are a patient.
