Don't strike off places just because people/the internet tell you it's only for honeymooners or only for the brave or seasoned travellers or any other stupid reason.
Minutes after taking this photo, I took myself on an unexpected hike on the most romantic island on the face of this earth. ..
But I was there alone.
But I was determined to see this island despite not attached to another human being. And not on a honeymoon.
It turned out to be one of the best hikes on the island. And it also made me one of my craziest friends ever. Whom I met again a year later in L.A.
We barely made sunset. Almost ran out of water. Don't know if we remembered to eat dinner. Almost got stranded without transport home (to Fira) where the poor backpackers live.
Days like these makes the travel journey so memorable don't you think? If it's on your list - get on it!
Next level sunset shows everyday in Istanbul 😍 Have you been to Turkey?
This lighting photo i took this summer, always trying to capture the perfect strike is always a challenge, after looking at the radar i made a last minute choice at 3 am to try and track the incoming storm, found a spot about 15 minutes away from home that i could get in front of the incoming storm. i could not have been happier with how this one turned out i got several lightning strikes prior to this one with the strikes out in the distance but nothing like this one. seconds after this photo it began to poor rain and i had to run back to the truck.
Who's been to the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris? It may look small in photos, but when you get up close and personal, it's nothing like what you would see on your screen.

Despair came knocking on my door, bringing darkness in my mind and fear in my heart. Silence. Sorrow. Misery. I want to die. Note to self: When it seems like the world has turned upside down, search for the light. Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. And it's always there waiting for you.
