--Thinkfood Mini Munch--
My review of this (tiny) snack. I chose the almond and cranberry flavour, but it's also available in almond and blueberry 💙
This company also makes some pretty good looking nut and seed mixes 😍
✔️High in fibre with 10g of fibre per 100g
✔️Contains high amounts of unsaturated (healthy) fats
✔️Low amounts of saturated fats
✔️Small serving size
✖️Moderately high in sodium - ideally foods should have less than 120mg/100g and these have 145mg/100g
✖️High in sugar ☹️ with 15.2g/100g - ideally foods should have less than 15g/100g. 2 of the 7 ingredients listed on the pack were sugars
This food looks a lot better when looking at the amounts per serve, but mostly because the serve size is pretty small - a standard serve of nuts and seeds is 30g, and a serve of these is 20g
Easy to get and no prep required means this gets 5 stars from me.
These are available off the shelf at Coles, and I've also seen them at some of the Petrol Stations that stock healthier snacks 👌🏼
Super tastey, nice and crunchy. Just the right amount of sweetness. I love how these taste 😍
No husband taste test this time, there wasn't enough to spare!
This 20g pack cost me $1.20, which works out to $60 per kg 😱
Spending $1.20 on a snacks every now and then doesn't seem that bad, but the cost per kg is way too much for this to be a regular snack for me!
