The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues on the west bank of the River Nile, opposite the modern city of Luxor, in Egypt. These two huge ruined statues, around 20m high, once stood at the entrance gate of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Luxor city is considered the world's largest open air museum! #VisitEgypt#ThisIsEgypt
